Or, Charles and Erik have been apart since Erik has stepped down from the Quiet Council of Krakoa in favor of retiring to Arakko. They've found themselves resorting to classics, as always; the written word, resulting in a growing collection of letters between the two during their time away from each other. Some of these have unfortunately fallen into the hands of the enemy.

Tony Stark is a little (a lot) stressed, and it's showing. The Reader, a close friend of his, is honestly just trying to get their work done and ends up helping. Tony gets the commendation he needs and the Reader learns that they aren't so different from him after all.
