“Right!” Ella exclaims. “Valentine’s Day ideas.” She taps her finger to her lip while she paces the length of her table. Suddenly she snaps her fingers, “How about something that makes her remember how you met? Like, maybe some music?”
Lucifer scoffs, “Sadly, the Detective’s taste in that area is...questionable. Her playlist is the greatest hits from the 1990s.” He grimaces in distaste while shaking his head. “Wretched.”
Ella laughs. “She can’t be perfect, right?”
“But she is,” he replies before thinking.

He clears it then tries again, “Why are we here?” His gaze sweeps the pier in front of them then returns to her. “Is there some maleficent reprobate we are here to apprehend, or,” he gestures toward her, “are you simply punishing me for enjoying my own candy cane earlier?”

Chloe snickers as she looks around Lucifer's palatial closet, “Seriously? Are you shocked?” She raises her hand to brush it along a section of pressed shirts, “Grouped by color, no less.” The blonde detective continues her perusal of the space, “Even the shoes.”
She picks one up, “I mean, seriously. Who even knew Manolo Blahnik made men’s shoes? He’s like Carrie Bradshaw was reincarnated as a man. And not a single pair of sneakers.” The black suede oxford is replaced and her hand brushes the handle of a drawer, “Does he even wear socks?”
“Yes,” Linda answers before thinking. She blushes furiously as she takes a drink.

“If you could get out before, Lucifer, why did you wait so long?” Maze asks.
He turns and looks down at her, his jaw clenches and releases several times as he visibly struggles to control his breathing. His sigh is melancholy and she bristles at the sound of it, “Because I had to try, Maze. I hoped for so long this...task set by my father was more than just unending punishment. That there was some point to it all.” Lucifer turns his back and sighs heavily as he slides long elegant fingers along the shining surface of his throne, “Redemption, perhaps.”
Lucifer glances back over his shoulder, “Seems that chap had it right when he said to abandon hope upon entering this place.”

Unacceptable. He’s come close to losing Foggy today and that is unacceptable. Matt’s common sense tells him it is not his fault since it was a random attack, a mere coincidence that Foggy has been at Landman & Zack exactly at this time. A nutjob shooter targeted the place and killed several people. It was not Foggy’s connection to Matt or Daredevil that endangered him. But if not for Luke, Jess and Danny, Matt would now probably enter a morgue to see Foggy. It’s thanks to people that are not Matt, that he walks into a hospital instead. Unacceptable.
