His fingers stilled as he inhaled deeply, ignoring the faint underlay of must in favour of taking in the scent of home. Of Jungkook’s citrus shampoo and Jin’s sweet perfume and the dark musk of Taehyung. If he strained his ears, he could hear Seokjin’s affronted yelling downstairs and the bright peals of Jimin’s laughter. He wanted to take this moment right here, with their scents surrounding him and their voices murmuring a familiar melody and bottle it up, make it into a candle, record it on a tape. He would name it something generic like “Home” or “Family” and take it out whenever he needed a reminder that he wasn’t and would never be alone.

Yoongi has a little bit of a crush on his neighbor and the totally logical thing to do is to secretly deliver his crush the pastries he gets as extras from the bakery he works at. And it works just fine. Until it doesn't.
