Jay hummed, “Yeah… Like that…”
He closed his eyes, arms tightening around his favorite person perched on his lap. Like this, the gloomy aura of the surveillance room was practically banished along with the appearance of the rumble growing in his chest, sated and comfortable.
His favorite person, Kim Soleum, smiled, a soft and pleasant little thing as he too, leaned back against Jay’s chest. “Is this why you told me to leave early for today?”
Another lazy hum of confirmation, and Jay moved his head so slightly it’s hard to tell if he moved at all. “Tonight… All to myself…”
Heat creeped up Kim Soleum’s cheeks as he sighed. They don’t always do this, this, as in; cuddling in the middle of Jay’s duty. But well, Jay is always on duty, and when would they ever get to do this again than now?

Ooh. Damn. This series is so good. I love the grittyness of it, looking through a broken window at a Midoriya Izuku who isn't one we're familiar with. Wallflower, orphan, magician, vigilante. Such great writing, plot, suspense! As someone who loves case fics, this was delicious.
