Summary
When word spreads of an ancient elven ruin buried amid the lost thaigs of the Deep Roads, rumors fly. Some say it's made of gold; others claim it holds the secret to eternal life. Whoever finds it is sure to unlock the kind of wealth and power that can transform lives completely.
The problem: only one person knew where it is, and she went mad and died when she returned to civilization. Only a fool would venture into the Deep Roads with nothing but a vague promise and too much hope.
Enter eight fools. Prince Mingi of Ferelden's royal family has lost everything but his most loyal vassal Yunho; ex-Circle mages Hongjoong and Seonghwa are on the run and in need of a lucky break; former Duster turned mercenary Wooyoung promises his boyfriend San that the adventure will be worth the risk of death; Grey Wardens Jongho and Yeosang are here to assess the darkspawn threat and protect their friends. Together, they'll brave the Deep Roads and make their own futures.
That is, provided no one's past comes back to haunt them.

Summary
Liti's definitely not jealous that Gortash often flirts with nobles at parties for political gain. Just like he definitely doesn't immediately jump at the chance to put on the prettiest dress he can find and put Gortash's seduction skills to the test - because the Son of Bhaal doesn't wear pretty dresses or dance at fancy parties.
Gortash, for his part, is just curious to see where all this goes. And maybe slightly invested in having religiously-charged sex.

Summary
There’s a beat of silence before Hongjoong finally asks the question Seonghwa has been waiting for. “Then where exactly is your freakiest place that you’ve had sex?”
The answer is instant. Seonghwa doesn’t even need to think about it.
“In a car, parked in the back of a Lotte Mart parking lot,” he replies simply, and he glances over, holding back a grin when he catches sight of the shocked expression that’s painted across Hongjoong’s face.
“You—you did what?” Hongjoong exclaims, blinking rapidly like that would help him better comprehend what Seonghwa had just revealed.
“You heard what I said,” is all Seonghwa says. It’s really fucking endearing, he thinks, how gobsmacked Hongjoong looks right now. He wonders if he could make it even worse. “How about I take your car sex virginity and give you some head, right here, right now?”
Seonghwa blows Hongjoong’s mind in the back of a blue Mercedes.

”Hyung,” Hongjoong mumbles into his comforter. He's probably getting drool all over it. Seonghwa hums in response, prompting Hongjoong to continue. "You'd make someone really happy, y'know? If you were in one of those silly rom-coms you like to watch, you would be the hot one who helps the disaster guy get his life back together."
"You're saying that I'm the hot one?" Seonghwa clarifies. Hongjoong almost wants to say no, because right now, there's a sliver of moonlight shining across Seonghwa's face and he doesn't look hot—he looks beautiful. The pale light brings out the silvery colour Seonghwa had dyed his hair last month and it contrasts so beautifully against his tanned skin.
"Yeah," Hongjoong says around a lump in his throat. He doesn't mean to blurt out his next words. "And I'm the disaster."
Hongjoong has always been afraid of flying too close to the sun.
But the stars don’t burn him in the same way.

Summary
Hongjoong doesn't know how he ended up here, under the flashing lights of a gay club and the influence of an ungodly cocktail. He doesn't know how to be this person he's been suppressing for decades, how to take something he wants just for the sake of it, without the shame and secrecy he's carried with him all his life.
But Seonghwa radiates shamelessness—so much so that Hongjoong can feel it seep into him with every touch, every kiss, every burst of pleasure he's denied himself for years.
Seonghwa knows what he wants, and he's confident that he knows exactly what Hongjoong wants too.

Summary
If they were just two humans rather than soldiers on opposing sides of an endless war, would Hongjoong let himself stare a little longer, let his mind wander a little further in the dark of night alone in bed, to sable locks and slender fingers without the icy touch he knows them to have?
In the end, entertaining an idea like that is pointless. Because Seonghwa isn’t human, and he hasn’t been for a long, long time.
But then again, now…neither is Hongjoong.
