Summary
Five years after World War I, Jemma's father, a former soldier, receives a letter from a young man he met on the front lines. The man asks for her father's aid in finishing the life-saving research they started during the war. However, with her father unable to answer the young man's call for help, Jemma decides to take his place. Snowed in at the young man's grand manor, Jemma must work towards not only helping in finishing her father's research, but also in discovering the many mysteries surrounding the Rose-Thistle Manor and its reclusive owner, Leo Fitz.
