Ohhh, be careful for what you wish for. A classic warning for those who are not careful with their words. But to be fair, Nijimura isn’t so stupid that he doesn’t think it holds an ounce of truth; he’s just more realistic in his beliefs. He’s more inclined to cynical adages like Murphy’s Law, which, in essence, delivers a message no different from the first one. It’s just a matter of perspective. Both are grave reminders of the worst being a possibility amidst hope, so don’t be overly optimistic.
Nijimura’s path crosses with Pretty Boy’s for the third consecutive time, and in a much closer proximity.
Three times Nijimura sees Himuro in a souvenir marketplace and one time in his apartment building.
