A brilliant wizard disguised as a merchant, somehow capable of casting dunamancy. And not just any spells - Essek didn't even know one could possess such power.
Now, standing in the shadows of the Bright Queen's throne, looking at the ragtag group in front of them, he barely kept his hands from shaking. One of the intruders, a red-haired human, looked exactly like that mysterious man from his past, but a decade or so younger.
Humans didn't live that long. And they certainly didn't age in reverse.
