Summary
Mizi groans and hides her face between her arms. “Sua-unnie...I don’t know if I have a future in academics.”
Sua’s smile softened seeing Mizi sprawled on the table. “ What are you going to do, then?”
“Get a job, maybe?” Mizi mumbled under her arms . “I will work a 9-to-5 slaving away ‘till my roommate pities me and makes me lunch.”
“And who would that poor roommate be?”
Mizi lifted her head, eyes widening and mouth slightly parted. She looked at her the same way Hia-unnie looks at her when quizzing her on a topic, as if there's only one possible answer and she couldn't quite believe Sua got it wrong.
Sua shivered under that gaze. “Right. Or maybe you could put half the effort you put into daydreaming into your English test.”
Mizi and Sua move in together.

Summary
Sua is soft.
Soft and cute everywhere, from the tips of her fingers to her toes. Mizi would know. She’s touched every inch in between, stroking and smoothing and sometimes pinching at the flesh.

Summary
Even three months after their nearly disastrous gala infiltration, Sua is still reeling-- the desire she'd sworn to keep on a tight leash threw her and Mizi right into danger, after all. When a new mission requires the two of them to pose as a married couple, alone on a cruise ship, for a week, Sua swears she’s going to do everything right this time. But nothing ever goes to plan for Garden’s deadliest unit, and with Sua’s own heart working against her with every move Mizi makes, nothing could prepare them for what might happen out on the water.

“Do I? I’m not so sure. I keep hurting you. I-”
“What I did hurt you too, didn’t it? None of it is your fault, Mizi. You don’t have to be afraid. That’s not what I want.” Sua pauses, like she isn’t sure how to word it. She seems frustrated. Communication has never been their strongest, even now. She blurts out, “I- I want you to touch me.”
“… You want me to? Right now?” Mizi asks softly, trying to mask all the uncertainties welling up inside her. She’s afraid of hurting Sua again. Afraid of making another mistake.
Or: after they are saved by the rebellion, a clingy desperate Sua longs for an equally clingy desperate Mizi. Neither of them know how to handle it.

Mizi leans closer, cupping Sua’s cheeks in her hands, marveling at the warmth she feels under her fingers. Once, she had thought she would never feel any warmth ever again, thought she had lost this forever. Unconsciously, Mizi’s pinkies trace Sua’s cheekbones, then drift downwards, resting against the still rough patch of scar tissue on the side of Sua’s neck.
Sua’s breath hitches under her fingers, and Mizi can see her eyes dampen, little tears caught in her eyelashes. “Three years.”
Three years. As if Mizi could ever forget.
