Merlin likes his sleep. He likes it so much, in fact, that when he was still in high school, his mother had to resort to drastic measures in order to get him up in the morning. The most effective of these- including but not limited to a bucket of ice cold water, an air horn, and once an entire mariachi band playing at the foot of Merlin's bed- turned out to be the smell of cooking bacon and pancakes, accompanied by the sounds of sizzling grease and butter.
Therefore, Merlin is very displeased when he arrives at Camelot University to find that his halfwitted, Ken blonde, stupidly fit roommate snores like two freight trucks trying to procreate on a nightly basis.OR
Merlin's new roommate snores, and he is not pleased.
