Summary
Jayce and Viktor and “partners” and falling in love and dangerously modifying one’s own body and fucking everything up and stitching it all back together and, oh yeah, canceling the apocalypse. With science, of course.
A Pacific Rim AU of Arcane, or maybe an Arcane AU of Pacific Rim, wherein Jayce and Viktor are the leading K-Scientists of the PPDC. (And maybe they get to pilot a Jaeger along the way.)
Title from the first stanza of Anne Carson’s translation of Sappho fragment 16: “Some men say an army of horse and some men say an army on foot/ and some men say an army of ships is the most beautiful thing/ on the black earth. But I say it is/ what you love.”

Summary
There are nights when no one dreams, or dreams are small and life-sized: espresso grounds and science books, the tenure track, or people; broken strings and shipwrecked boats, dishabille, or seagulls.
A story of cognitive dissonance and emotional devotion. Drs. Geiszler and Gottlieb deal with the complexities of the post-drift psychological state in a fine-ass, mature blaze of physics puns, banter, poorly prepared meals, questionable wardrobe choices, and, of course, science.
Heed the tags, helmets on, go ahead and tap the glass.

I can't fucking believe CWR is giving DCWT and its wider universe back to us. It is no exaggeration to say this fic has shaped the course of my life; when I first read it in 2014, I was 22 and in need of a friend and guidance. Now I’m 33 and the world is crueler than ever and we could all use the kind of love and resilience and sheer stubborn hope that Newt and Hermann have. DCWT got me through a really rough patch -- the gift of fanfiction! -- and showed me just how playful and genre-bending and transmedia-inclusionary fanfic could be. Here's to Newt and his fraction of a hivemind; here's to Hermann and Hwi and RFID chips and the Supercos; here's to Mako and Raleigh and their big hearts; here's to contrapuntal fugues and neuroscience departments and sheer bloody-minded determination to save the person you love most in the world.

Summary
“Yes, Lord Stark has come to town to help his mother bring out his eldest sister,” Tyrion said, pouring Jaime a glass of wine. “I understand he also plans to take his seat in the House of the Law. His uncle Edmure has been gathering time for him to give his maiden speech.”
“Yes, yes,” Jaime said irritably. “That’s not what matters and you know it. Well?”
Tyrion sighed. “He's nineteen, well-favored, and as far as I know, neither demented nor stupid. And not a hint of a betrothal. Sorry.”

Bookmarker's Notes
One of the best Regency AU's I've had the pleasure of reading across many fandoms, and just DELICIOUS character work happening here on many levels. It's Astolat so of course the character voices and worldbuilding are pitch-perfect, but it's worth saying anyway -- the level of quality here is HIGH, and that makes the evolution of Robb and Jaime's relationship in this incarnation so wonderful to read. Plus, Tyrion in this fic rules. Cannot recommend highly enough; finding this fic on a wider Jaime-centric reclist and then loving it so much is why I started reading Robb/Jaime. <3

Summary
“I did not come here to argue,” Loki says, his hands slipping down around Thor’s neck. “I came here to tell you that there is no world where I do not love you, Thor. There is no timeline where I do not choose you. There is no universe that will be wide enough to keep us apart.”

Summary
Eyes Closed to Fingers Crossed picks up on Santana shortly after "Sexy", and departs from Glee canon from that point onwards. Note: this series is not Brittana. Mind the pairings listed in the series.
The series follows Santana for the next 3 years and covers, loosely, her coming out process in junior year of high school (Five Stages), her last year of high school and her hang-up on Brittany (The Lights That Stop Me), her freshman year of college in New York, in which she tries to move on with her life (Blind With Casualties), and her sophomore year in college, during which time she actually moves on (We Started Secret Plans).
The main is separated by interludes from other people's perspectives and concluded with an epilogue set in 2019.

Summary
"What do you want?" T'Challa whispers. Almost like he's pleading. All Erik wants to do is wrap his fist around that smooth throat and make him beg some more.
