“You heard me,” Johnny said, eyes flicking up to hers, before snapping away once more. Something in his voice that Sue… didn’t think she’d ever heard from him before. “I’ll snitch. I’ll tell your supervisor. I’ll rat you and Richards out to StateU.”
That. That had registered. “Johnny, don’t you dare,” she’d snapped, voice raising.
He’d flinched. He hadn’t backed down.
“You’re not allowed to ruin this for me, Johnny, I swear to God,” she’d said, her voice shaking.
“Then take. Me. With you,” he’d said. His voice was shaking, too. She hadn’t really noticed, at the time."
A take on the Fantastic Four's origin story, and kind of a character study, mainly between Susan and Johnny Storm.

“I wanted Elvis,” Johnny yawned. “But you said this was funnier.”
“He’s going to kill me,” Peter said blankly. “Doctor Doom is going to kill me because I married his fourth favorite nemesis—”
“Hey, Ben is the fourth favorite. I’m a solid third.”
“His fourth favorite nemesis in Las Vegas—”
“The Little Latverian Chapel, if you want to get exact.”
“With a Doctor Doom impersonator officiating.”
“He said we were his favorite couple of the night, by the way,” Johnny said, yawning. “And he just smiled and nodded when you told him you were actually Spider-Man.”

Peter welcomes Johnny back from the Negative Zone, marries him, and falls in love. In that order.

Summary
See, Ben had died once. It was damn nice, or it would’ve been if any of his family had let him move on to the afterlife. Who’s he kidding? Ben hadn’t even let himself go up without saying goodbye.
Point being, Johnny had stared at Ben with a fiery determination afterward telling him he wasn’t allowed to go damn near anywhere unless Johnny said so. Ben had raised an eyebrow at the outburst, finding Johnny to be a bit selfish for not wanting Ben to experience the great beyond for himself. Back then, Ben saw it as a sign of his youth, a lack of understanding Johnny had regarding the weight of their circumstances.
And then Johnny had stared down waves of enemies who'd never stop, he'd been pulled apart and killed right before Ben's eyes, and Ben can't ever believe he'd been as selfish as to think that Johnny didn't understand the weight of the world they walked in.

“I don’t know what I’m going to do tomorrow.” Artemis lamented, lying back against her mat, ice pack secured under her tank top strap. “I have to wear a uniform for PE and this’ll totally show.”
“You could say you fell on your bike.” Dick offered, laying another piece across his right knee.
“Think anyone will buy that?” Artemis asked, glancing at him from the floor.
“If you sell it.” Dick said. He stood up, flexing both taped legs to make sure he had full range of motion. “Do you have a bike? A skateboard?” He asked.
“Nope.”
“Time to start riding one.” Dick said. “Mine is half of my excuses.”
“The other half?” Artemis asked, sitting up to gingerly start her own routine.
“I’m from Gotham.” Dick smirked, rolling his shoulders back and forth. “What if I got mugged?” He asked, rhetorically. Artemis raised an eyebrow.
“No one would believe I got mugged.”
“Then buy a skate board.”
OR Dick and Artemis bond over being the only non-powered humans on the team
