“Do werewolves get erectile dysfunction or does the super healing thing take care of that?” It was out of the blue. Classic Stiles.
It was also the first clue. And Derek missed it completely. Later he would blame it on being half asleep. But instead of realizing something was wrong, Derek just blinked at his boyfriend stupidly. “All I asked was how many pieces of bacon you wanted.”
Stiles shrugged.
Derek turned back to the bacon, rolling his eyes where it couldn’t be seen. (Though, he did suspect that Stiles would know anyway.) “You do realize there’s no universal experience for werewolves, right? And seeing as I’ve never experienced that before…?”
Stiles laughed, high and forced (not that Derek registered that.) “Right. Right. Of course. Just curious. You know how it is.”
There was a jump in his heartbeat but Derek was too sleepy and focused on the food to recognize it for what it was. (He really should have realized something was up.)
