Summary
Unbeknownst to Kremy and Gideon, the presence of novel sexual competitors can induce out-of-season protectiveness and courting behaviours for Gatorfolk.
None of this was ever relevant, Gideon’s one night stands couldn’t be a threat. The two of them are just friends. Partners.
Business Associates.
But mistakes made up in the Grizzlepaw Mountains, paired with the introduction of a smooth talking dancer named Kevin could throw a wrench in more than just the operation of Carnivàle Lecroux.

Summary
“He frowned, humming in quiet disapproval as he tugged at and adjusted his suit. Not that it needed to be adjusted, of course– he had shelled out all the gold necessary to ensure it was tailored to him perfectly. He had an image to uphold, after all. But something about it was off, the image of him in the same suit he always wore suddenly not quite right. The dissonance clawed at his mind like a cat trapped in a box.
Just one of those days.
Those Days– which he had dubbed them whenever he forgot that he wasn’t supposed to be thinking about it– had been cropping up more frequently since they had escaped the feywild. You had more time to think about things you rather wouldn’t when a hundred-thousand gold piece debt to the most dangerous man in Agwè wasn’t hanging over your head, he supposed as he wiped off his drawn-on mustache. It had been smudged at some point during the day. Probably Gideon’s fault.”
Or: You can’t make an omelet without cracking a few eggs, and Kremy makes one hell of an omelet.

Summary
It starts with whiskey. High-proof, clean-burning, magically fortified whiskey that does something to Gideon’s blood, awakening his fiery ancestors' heat. Kremy’s ready for intensity. He’s not ready for what happens when Gideon's flames turn his favorite color. Neither is Gideon.
Gideon goes into heat and can't stop until he's satisfied.

You asked for this, Bucky reminds himself, literally, asked for it in words. What the hell had he been thinking? He shifts about, uncomfortable, but that just moves the plug against the walls of his ass and makes him more aware of the discomfort.
In which Bucky asks to spend a night wearing a plug, but it turns out to be way less fun than he'd expected and he has a much better time being punished for repeatedly waking Steve and Sam up instead.

It would take a real bastard to give the Winter Soldier a Bucky Bear as a joke, wouldn't it?
Steve finds Bucky post TWS, and is horrified to find him holding a mutilated, neglected Bucky Bear, whom he believes is somehow the real Bucky that he must protect.

“Back in your day, men were real men, huh, Cap?” Steve and Sam are at a store on the outskirts of Philadelphia stocking up on food in between leads on the Winter Soldier.
“Huh?” Steve grunts at the man behind the counter, wishing the guy could just give him his damn chips and let him go.
“None of this homo-transsexual shit,” The man gestures at a group of androgynous teenagers near the entrance to the store.
“Uh,” He stammers, looking to Sam for guidance. “Sure."
He pays for their things and they leave, but by the time they're nearing the car, Steve feels like shit.Series

Things always go wrong for Spock where flowering photosynthetic organisms are concerned.
Sometimes they try to kill him, others they spy on him. But occasionally he encounters a plant and then finds himself standing in a tent, in front of his Captain, begging Jim to fuck him. And there's no way Kirk is going to pass that one up...(Works best with Abrams universe, but could easily be TOS if you wanted.)

Or: "The one where Kirk gives Bones the woodshed treatment and then they take things upstairs".
Tradition had always been something of a thing for McCoy. It was a rarity, a quirk, odd little adherences to custom that was so far outdated that it was often forgotten. Admittedly, it went a little deeper than dress sense and food, but he didn’t have time to think about it, pressed over the bench behind the woodshed at his Ma’s. He was still a mama’s boy, after all.

Trigger Warning: Self-harm; internalised stigma; shame; depression; moderate descriptions of self injury; euthanasia and patricide.
Bones has been self harming for years and has convinced himself that it's no big deal.
So why is he so desperate for the possibility of someone saving him? Even if that someone is Spock?
(This is less about SH and more about loneliness and isolation and other people being unable to see)************************************
It started small, as most things did, with fingernails scraping palms as he uncovered Jim's lifeless form in sickbay.
One might have expected elation to follow, some alleviation after Khan's blood first entered Jim's bloodstream, a product of hope. In reality, it was two weeks of uncertainty and fear and misery that gouged crescents into his arms and knees and the back of his neck.
It was fine though; he was fine. Minor anxiety; to be expected under the circumstances. -

NEW! Extra chapter for those who asked.
A species which abhors sex temporarily restores the "innocence" of the crew members by making them appear to regress to the age they were before they started having sex.Which is all very funny until there's an eight year old on board.
TRIGGER WARNING: Deals with sexual abuse and incest, and a character who has largely recovered from the trauma unaided but is triggered by this event. Nothing explicitly described.

Despite the way everyone babied Chekov, he'd grown up fast. He learnt quickly to avoid or deflect unwanted attention on his part, to manipulate those who thought they could take advantage of him. Eventually he'd learnt to take advantage of it.
So when Sulu found himself stripped and forced over the bed by deceptively strong hands, he was surprised, but 'little' Pavel Chekov was not.

How to Cure a Rainy Day by a_pocket_full

Summary
Leonard, Leo, Dr McCoy, but rarely ever Bones, these days, was dying. Not in the sense that he did not have long left to live – his body, as it was now, patched and re-patched with lab-grown tissue would likely last another ten years or so. Hell, if he kept treating the ailments as they came up and didn’t die in an accident, a murder, or of one of the few remaining untreatable diseases or cancers, he could probably hang on indefinitely. Leonard could cure anything, nearly – but he still couldn’t cure that rainy day. Loneliness and crushing isolation had settled on him and increased exponentially with age since his retirement from Starfleet.
Luckily for Leonard, his plans are about to be interrupted by an old friend.
(If you squint it could be the AOS of the future.)

Spones drabble, in which, briefly, everything is fine, and Spock and Bones are free to simply appreciate and fear the local wildlife respectively.
.............................................................................................................................................................
There’s a bear outside the guesthouse where they’re staying and it’s making Bones distinctly uncomfortable. Spock has been studying it from the downstairs window seat for over an hour, leaving Leonard to tiptoe around hoping it doesn’t see either of them through the glass and come crashing in. It’s here for the trash, of course, not Spock’s equivalent of a spleen, but that doesn’t calm his nerves... -

Summary
He isn't comfortable with how it starts.
Actually, he's really, *really* uncomfortable with it. It starts with Jim watching him with Joanna. He's aware that Jim is watching them interact, not actually watching Jo – if the latter had been the case, Jim would be gone. He loves Jim, by the time he introduces him to his little girl, really loves him – but first and foremost, he's a parent. If push comes to shove, Joanna gets Leonard and Jim gets nothing, and that's how it has to be. Jim is tense all the time, maybe because he knows this, but maybe because of something else. Not agitated. Concerned.
So no, Jim doesn't want Joanna. He wants to *be* Joanna. But it takes a long time for McCoy to work this out, and until then, he's watchful; suspicious; ready to do what he has to do to protect his child.

He doesn't blame her, and for all her rage, she doesn't blame him. She could have killed him, and it wouldn't have mattered, because their little girl, their reason for being, was dead.
