Summary
During his travels Penelope and Colin talk. A lot. They text and exchange emails and the occasional phone or video call if the time zone allows it. But now, face to face, Colin can feel that Penelope seems distant, like she’s putting some kind of wall between them. He tries to rationalise it as a result of her having trouble coexisting with so many Bridgertons, so he gives her time. But as days go by, Colin can’t help but feel like he doesn’t truly know Penelope now.

Confined at Aubrey Hall during the pandemic, Colin has to confront the fact that he doesn't seem to know Penelope as well as he thought when he discovers that she has been the Bridgertons' official hairdresser for years.
