Summary
Reaching his bedroom, Amuro shoves Char through the door and promptly slams it shut behind him, locking it and rounding on the other.
“What the fuck are you doing here?” he demands.
He can say this here because this is the one place Amuro knows there are no cameras, no wire taps, nothing that can overhear them.
In response, Char says nothing. Instead, he sits casually down on the bed, slipping his coat off his shoulders, folding it, and setting it to the side. Then, he crosses one leg elegantly over the other. The entire time, Amuro watches him, eyes narrowed, back to the door, adrenaline pumping furiously through his veins for the first time since the war.
“What a way to greet a friend,” Char smiles as he says it, like it’s a little joke.
“We are not friends,” Amuro spits.
“Ah, true. Forgive me,” Char turns away, looks down at his coat on the bed. The smile doesn’t leave his face. “I forgot. A lover.”

Char feels a sudden bloom of anger in his aching chest. He rounds on Haman, crosses the room, and slams her back into the sofa she sits on by the collar of her uniform. He plants his knee on the chair between her spread legs to get better leverage, hands fisting in fabric.
“What have you been putting in my food?” he hisses, teeth grit.
Haman smiles up at him, sly. “Why would you ask me that, Char?”

Summary
The crowd fades as his vision darkens at the edges, the sound going with it as the only thing he can hear becomes his own blood rushing through his ears. Saliva gathers at the back of his throat and he swallows it down, over and over, focusing on breathing through his nose despite how his lungs seem to want to pull in as much air as possible.
A hand touches Quattro's shoulder, shocking him out of his concentrated trance.
“Are you okay?”
He'd know the voice anywhere. Would have felt the presence before Amuro touched him if he hadn't been so tunnel visioned.
The world comes rushing back in, overwhelming and visceral, and Quattro loses his thinning control over his own body. Stomach lurching, chest spasming, it's all he can do to try and miss his own lap as he hunches forwards and throws up on the floor.

Summary
He doesn't feel his fingers relax, doesn't notice that they have until his mug of coffee shatters on the kitchen floor. It splashes over his legs, up against his whitewashed cabinets. Reigen shifts his gaze to look down at the mess that has materialised at his feet. Coffee seeps between his toes, and he knows it should disgust him viscerally, but he can't really feel it.
After a long moment, he reaches behind himself for a towel. That seems like a good place to start, soak up the liquid. He crouches and a thought flashes through his mind. It doesn't feel like his own thought - is hardly in his brain long enough to even form as one. It's not a coherent string of words. Instead, it's an image, a tug, an impulse that urges him.
Reigen puts out his hand, palm first, and lowers it into the shards of broken ceramic. He feels the edges of them prick at his skin but it all registers as pressure rather than pain. Without thinking, he twists.

Reigen is the victim of a curse, but that isn't all there seems to be to it. Even after it's exorcised, Reigen finds himself suffering from habits he thought he'd long since overcome that the curse has brought back to the surface.

“...Good grief,” Jotaro's staticky voice replies after far too much time. “I thought you were in danger.”
Crazy Diamond can't ask for it. Josuke doesn’t want to admit it. And, of course, Okuyasu and The Hand are the cause of everything, not that either of them know that. It might take a miracle to get them together... or maybe a new Stand user will do just as well.

Hunter was huddled underneath the kitchen table, knees pressed to his chest, inching himself farther into the crevice as Willow crouched beside him. Hunter was also sat on top of the counters and kicking his legs back and forth against the cupboard doors as a fountain of words gushed out from his mouth. Not to mention, Hunter was halfway into the fridge, munching on an apple. He was sitting on a barstool with his eyes glazed over. He was gesturing wildly with a steak knife as he shouted at Vee.
He was doing all of this, because somehow, against all logic, he was in five places at once. Because there were five separate Hunters in the kitchen. Because Luz had messed up the potion one two three four five different ways, and if she’d learned one thing from Eda, besides identity theft, it was that potions were precise, they were exact and they were specific and they never did the same thing once they were messed with.
“Oh my King,” she mumbled.
