Queen Petra and Emperor Edelgard hash out a political agreement in writing. During the winter, Dorothea will stay with Petra as her mistress while Claude stays with Edelgard as her man. During the summer, Claude will stay with Petra as her man and Dorothea will stay with Edelgard as her mistress.

Summary
Lysithea reaches out to Shez to set up a double date with Claude, but tries to pass it off as casual. She's not ready and not willing to get into a serious relationship. Claude sees right through it, and arranges one of his schemes (a tiny one!) to force her to confront reality, but he didn't take into account whether or not he was ready to do so himself.
Also Shez and Byleth go through their own tragic, star crossed romantic misunderstanding in the background.

Aside from the use of sarcasm and the surprisingly sage advice of a self-help book, Goro's still not sure of the right way to handle the weight of his regrets, his obligation to the world at large, or the matter of his... feelings... for Ren Amamiya. But sometimes it's not about fate, angel numbers, or the caprices of false gods. Sometimes, it's just that the only path leads forward— so, with the chance you're given, you steal ahead.

Summary
Things aren’t quite the same this time round. The big things don’t seem to change—the Palaces. The bad guys. The reports on TV, another psychotic breakdown, another mental shutdown. But the small stuff varies a lot. Ren can check his old probation diary to compare: he meets different people on different days, he does different stuff, he starts working for Iwai way sooner, he doesn’t eat at Big Bang Burger so much. The biggest difference in this timeline that he’s been able to find is that both Yoshizawa sisters are alive. They’re the honor students, the two of them always together, whispered about by the rest of Shujin Academy. Sumire seems—not happy, exactly, but she does seem like herself. She doesn’t end up as Ren’s friend this time, and she doesn’t call him senpai. He misses her, but he’s glad for her as well.
So that’s different.
Also, Akechi has a dog now.

Futaba closes the door again for some thinking time. That was Goro Akechi on her doorstep. Well, on Sojiro’s doorstep, but Sojiro’s not here. Only Futaba is here.
Open door. Peep round it. Akechi is a sort of heap on the step. Asleep? Or… possibly dead? Dead mom-killing ex-detective on Futaba’s doorstep? Didn’t he die four years ago? How is he here? Futaba hasn’t slept. Or eaten. She shouldn’t have to deal with this. What do you even do with a murder-detective possibly-corpse? She closes the door.
Okay, no, she can’t just ignore him and hope he goes away.
Well, she could though. It’s super super tempting.
No, come on. What would Ren do? What would Sojiro do?
What would Mom do?
