“Only two?” you asked, your tone disappointed. They nodded solemnly at you.
“ONLY TWO,” they said, “YOU CAN EITHER–”
“Why only two?” you interrupted again, managing to maintain your poker face despite your sudden urge to smile. Their brow seemed to furrow, interestingly enough, as if their features were more elastic than they looked.
“BECAUSE YOU HAVE MADE POOR LIFE CHOICES.”

Probably the best characterization I've ever seen for Papyrus, and excellent characterization for others as well!!! Sans is a lot more chill than he is in a lot of fics, and I'm grateful for that. Sadly, the work seems to be abandoned, though.

Summary
The palette-swapped racers of TurboTime, saved for games with over one player, are the few characters spared from the titular Turbo’s self-absorbed and cruel nature. They’re barely a blip in his code, and easy to beat, anyway. The main player characters have their business, and the other racers have theirs. Everyone prefers to keep it that way.
Except for one, unfortunately.
