“Would you stop saying stuff like that?"
“What? That no one wants me?” Satoru bristled, thinking Suguru must be pitying him. “Never give me that bullshit. Someone would have to be blind, deaf, and fucking dumb to want me.”
“I did.”
In which one New Year’s kiss causes Satoru to become very caught up on things he’s never wanted before and the many experiences he’s never had. The fantasies cut a little too deep, however, when they blend the lines of his friendship with his best friend, Suguru, and leave him ashamed and confused. It's just Satoru's luck then to be stuck spending his summer with the exact person he never wanted to show his face to ever again but still feels like home.

Suguru turns his chin just slowly enough for Satoru to change his mind, but all Satoru does it comply, letting Suguru’s hand guide him towards him with mischief in his eyes and a small smile, and it’s just not a big deal, they’re just fucking around: Satoru feels fully confident about the lightheartedness of this moment right up until the very second Suguru slots their lips together.

The world fades out around Suguru.
“I’m sorry,” Suguru manages after a beat. “What?”
After Satoru loses his memories in an accident, Suguru can’t bring himself to remind him that they’ve broken up.

Satoru barreled through the door as soon as the knob turned, as though he also had a hand on it, pushing it open. Suguru scrambled back from the door, and Satoru threw himself into Suguru’s arms with so much force that Suguru stumbled a few steps until his back hit the wall.
“Holy shit, Satoru,” he shouted, hands coming up to grasp his arms. “You animal, what the hell are you doing!”

Suguru gulps slightly, his palms suddenly feeling clammy. He wipes them on his thighs before letting his finger trace the rim of his glass. “What is it?”
“You can take me!” he beams, a magnificent smile spreading across his lips. “I’ll be your boyfriend!”
If Suguru could see his reflection right now, he would probably look as pale as Satoru.
A smoke signal, a flare gun going off, someone coming up to him and blatantly saying, ‘Hey, your best friend is about to say something really fucking crazy’, anything would have been nice to prepare Suguru for this.

Summary
Eventually, Suguru is able to pin Satoru’s wrists down, holding them with one hand over Satoru’s head. He gets a few moments of something warm and prideful glowing in his chest, the thought that he won running through his head, before he looks down at Satoru’s face and realizes he didn’t win at all. This is exactly what Satoru wanted—to wrestle like teenagers, for whatever reason—and Suguru unknowingly played right into it. The wide grin currently illuminating Satoru’s face, despite evidently losing, is proof enough.
With a huff, Suguru releases Satoru’s wrists and rolls his eyes. He leans back, ready to chide Satoru for being a child and get off of him, when he’s distracted by—Suguru realizes there’s not really a polite way to put it—Satoru’s hard-as-fuck dick.
Or, Satoru accidentally gets a boner, and Suguru spirals over it.
