Summary
Tsukasa stands and hands Jun the freed pants. Swallowing, he is ready to go and to get himself to the other side of the room so Jun has more privacy and this won’t get awkward between them… but when Tsukasa is about to pull away, ice-cold fingers wrap around his wrist, gentle.
“Stay?” Jun asks quietly, so quietly it almost makes Tsukasa believe he only imagined the question. Yet the fingers on his wrist are real, and when Tsukasa’s gaze searches for Jun’s, the green eyes don’t fully meet his own. Jun’s bangs cover a lot from his expression, but the hard line of his mouth and the small trembling of his lower lip cause critical damage to Tsukasa’s heart.
// Plays after Chapter 52 and my previous fic in this series. The past - with HCs included - is compatible with the manga, but the future is my take on possible events!
Jun Yodaka leaves ice skating behind - except he breaks his promise, and an unfortunate accident seems to have maybe permanently decided the matter on his half. Still, his soul tied to ice skating, he can never really leave; after a meeting with Tsukasa, they end up in a weird arrangement that makes them both face how they feel about the other.

Summary
When he finally manages to stay motionless, Tsukasa also moves around a little—maybe subconsciously, but both end up just a bit closer to the other, now the heat from the other’s body being unmistakable.
“Jun?” Tsukasa asks, whispering as if he were a child who dares to speak after curfew.
The simplicity of using only Jun’s given name is… comfort in ways Jun cannot name, not even to himself. Humming as a response is enough for Tsukasa to add more:
“Are you cold?”

Once Jun leaves the rink, clouds gather and light rain falls. Walking away and smoking a package of cigarettes while the memories of his past and skating career circle in his mind, Jun makes a mistake and ends up on the ground. Thankfully to his 'saviour', he avoids hitting his head - but the man turns out to be Tsukasa. Views and words clashing, with declarations and honesty, after a lifetime spent feeling nothing but the coldness of the ice, Jun lets himself be embraced by the warmth of a man who respects and adores him to no end.

Oh, this man is going to be ‘the death’ of him—the thought (bittersweet in a warm way) crosses Mydei’s mind, almost drawing a smile to his face.
3.0 TB quest-following fic with added missing scene events ft. an unholy amount of introspection. The main focus is on the evening after the fight with Nikador - Phainon and Mydei share a hot bath. Phainon comes because he cares about Mydei's state, yet the upcoming trial weighs heavily on him, and he might need something to hold onto. Light mentions of 3.1 events and a future outlook in the epilogue. This is my love letter to these two wonderful men.

“No!” Omega growled as she pulled hard at the guards who held her. Their grips went tight enough to make her wince, but she didn’t stop fighting them. “Leave him alone!”
Hunter spit out blood at the guard’s boots and circled his jaw, shaking his head before he offered Omega a nod of reassurance. She whimpered at the sight of his bleeding lip, which was already split, and the bruising that had started to appear along his jawline. “It’s okay, kid. I can take it.”
“For now.” The masked man turned to face Omega, his hands crossed over his chest as if this was nothing more than a diplomatic exchange. It made her blood boil even more. “The better you are at answering our questions, the less he has to get hurt. Are we clear?”
The limits of both Hunter's and Omega's strength are tested when they're caught in the middle of a mission, forcing Omega to choose between keeping Hunter safe and exposing the rest of their squad.

That’s when it hit him just as hard as the impact he had taken against the ice. Hunter wasn’t on Daro, and that sure as blazes wasn’t Tech. That was Crosshair.
Tech was gone, and he wasn’t coming back. Because he fell. Just like Hunter did. But Hunter was unlucky enough to have survived it.
Hunter's hiding a lot more than just physical pain after breaking through the ice on Barton IV, and there's only one member of the squad who's brave enough to confront him about it.
