Summary
“I win again, Branwen.”
Blake shot her weapon, and soon her ears fluttered quickly to the unfamiliar feeling of the harsh breeze. She stepped back when she saw where she was, she was in Vacuo, this wasn’t right. When she turned around, the Branwen she knew was nothing like hers.
Yang watched her girlfriend point her weapon at the other version of herself, “How did you get here?”
“What do you think?”
“...Dust.”
“See? We’re the same, no need for questions we already know. I was going to reverse what happened but,” turning her head around, “There are a few things I want to try with this one.”
/// Or Yang trying to survive her girlfriend, Blake, and the other Blake that came from alternate reality.

Summary
“Why can’t I go outside?” Blake asked late at night as her mother combed through her hair.
“The world is a dark and cruel place, you must stay here where you’re safe.”
But on Blake’s 18th birthday, that all changes when she meets an outlaw running from the kingdom. She was strong, a bit fiery, but she was the key to making her dreams come true.
“Okay, what I’m hearing is this; I take you out to see the world, watch the lanterns, bring you back home without a scratch, and I get my bag back just like that?”
“I promise,” The blonde raised a brow in suspicion, which made sense considering she was tied to a chair by her hair, so Blake added, “I won’t break it - I swear.”

Summary
“Wait.”
Yang turned back to look at her girlfriend. Blake looked… nervous? For some reason? Her cat ears had drooped down along with her eyes suddenly finding the floor very interesting. A blush made its way across her cheeks, and she was fidgeting with her hands too.
“Blake, baby.” Yang closed the distance between them to gently hold Blake’s chin. “Are you okay?”
“Yes! Yes, I’m fine, just thought of something we could maybe do together, but it’s so silly and it’s definitely too soon in our relationship to–”
“Blake.” Yang cut off her nervous rambling with a chuckle. “What is it that you wanted to do with me?”
Blake chewed on her lower lip, another nervous tic, and took a deep breath and looked her in the eyes to summon her courage.
“I was wondering if… you'd like to shower together?”
Or: After a long day of being Huntresses, Yang and Blake decide to shower together to relax.

Summary
“Sounds good to me,” Blake says, meeting her eyes with a smirk.
Yang smiles back, holds her gaze for just a bit too long. She watches her ears twitch to the side ever-so-slightly. Sometime in the early part of the second semester Blake had started taking off her ribbon when they were all alone in their room, after Yang had asked if tying her ears up hurt at all. She doesn’t want to make her uncomfortable by staring, but recently there’s been something…addicting about watching Blake. She keeps turning to grin at her during lessons, keeps making sure she’s the one walking next to her in the halls, keeps sitting on her bed when they do homework. She keeps finding herself daydreaming about when Blake’s hands clasped hers during the dance.
It’s not like Yang’s afraid of falling in love, per se, but…it’s kind of like Yang’s afraid of falling in love. Only kind of. Sort of. But there’s no point in reflecting on any of that now.

Summary
The girl giggled a little more than what’s warranted. That’s what first puts Blake on edge. “That’s funny!” She said brightly. “You know, you want combat gear to be form-fitting, so it won’t get in your way. Maybe we could go take some measurements?” She suggests, shamelessly letting her eyes drop to Yang’s chest and arms momentarily before looking back up. “Just to make sure it’ll fit.”
“Oh, do you really need to be that precise?” Yang asked, startled, but dead fucking serious.
There’s no way Yang’s gonna let her get away with this, right?
The Atlas girl took a step closer to her. “It’ll optimize movement.”
Oh my brothers, Yang’s gonna let her get away with it.
Or; 5 times Blake was jealous about her partner getting attention, and the one time she did something about it.

Faunus should only exist in fairytales, in the pretty words pitched to Summer’s voice, so when Yang ventures into the night to find her mom and finds Blake instead she’s overcome with hope and vigorous fascination. Blake was warned never to leave the sanctuary—being spotted by a human could incite their extinction—but rather than dangerous Yang is warm and inviting, an invitation Blake holds even when she runs. The passage of time inevitably brings them together again and again, childhood bleeding into adulthood, and with each fleeting encounter Yang falls deeper in love.

Her feelings are big and messy and uncontrollable, but they’re no longer unwelcome. They’re reassuring, as steady and familiar as the pulse under her skin. So what if her heart skips a beat when Yang looks at her like that, or when her hand brushes against her own? It’s all kind of exciting.
