Hinasturu 'Hina' Shiba, lieutenant of Squad 13 and current Head of the Shiba Clan, expected herself to have a nice life. She wanted to follow in the footsteps of the sibling she admired the most, Kaien. After his tragic death, she lived her life like every day was her last. With the mark of her family, will she be able to live the life she wanted? Would she be able to say that she made Kaien proud of her?
Shuhei Hisagi, lieutenant of Squad 9 and chief editor of Seireitei Communications, thought that his life had become one big joke. Following his near-death experience as a child, he grew up with the determination to find the Soul Reaper Captain who had saved his life. Failing the Academy entrance twice, witnessing his year mates die, and finding out his childhood hero was no longer there. He felt like a giant joke no matter what anyone said.
Despite these two people's tragedies, the Shiba family's soul bond mark has decided that these two shall become known as the Doumekuni. Will these two be able to work together despite their different backgrounds? Or is something more sinister at work behind the scenes?

“Why not the both of us?” Ice asks quietly like he’s trying to hide his words from the other people in the bar. “We’re both willing if you are.”
Maverick has that same uneasy look back on his face that he had earlier before they entered the bar as he looks at them. It’s not conventional for an omega to spend a heat with two alphas, but he wants more than anything at this moment to say yes to them.
Slider leans across the table, deepening his voice for the next words that spill out, “Come on, shortstack, can you really tell me you’ve never thought of taking two alpha knots in that tight little hole of yours?”
Maverick makes a choking sound and he knows he’s caught by the way Slider smirks knowingly.
OR
Ice and Slider are good bros who just want Maverick to not be in pain during his heat… they also might have feelings for him and their help isn’t entirely selfless.
