At the same time, Sabina bursts out from around the building’s side (what?!) and outright sprints across the lot, heading straight for them …Jane whirls, going mission ready in a heartbeat. Somehow Elena registers that Jane has (already) pulled out weapons from beneath her outfit. There’s some kind of pistol cocked in one hand and a combat knife flicked open in the other. Elena is still fumbling with her handbag, yet to remove the Glock 19 she has hidden inside. Yet to even open her handbag, truth be told: she’s having trouble …
“Sabina!” yells Jane, at the same time as Sabina yells:
“Jane!”
They run towards each other, fast. Elena is left behind, staring after her girlfriends in consternation. Though small mercies, the handbag has finally clicked open. She reaches inside, withdraws her trusty pistol. Elena looks for a relevant target, tries to work out what’s happening … she’s by no means sure …

“You were with her.” Elena practically growls this line while staring at Sabina. It sounds very strange in Elena’s voice … which is usually gentle and sweet.“Ummm,” Sabina glances at Elena, pales a little, then looks at Bosley, eyes wide with mute appeal. “Bos?”
“Not mission relevant, Elena,” Bosley says sternly-gently, “we don’t have much time for this final briefing. I have a last-minute update from Charlie for you three. New intel.”
Elena bites her bottom lip, looks down. Jane feels upset; she can tell Elena is upset. Sabina’s thigh is bouncing minutely under Jane’s hand: she’s obviously restless. Sabina’s upset too. Jane glances between her girlfriends ...
“Angels!” Bosley’s voice cracks like a whip. Jane looks over in shock. Bosley is glaring at them all … though she doesn’t look truly mad. More worried. “We’re in a briefing.” Bosley says this sternly. Then, sarcastically. “It’s traditional to pay attention.”
“Maybe you should pull our team from this one,” Jane suggests before she knows what she’s saying.

The feminine voice is strikingly familiar. Sabina is vaguely shocked to hear a feminine voice that isn't her own (it's been so long) ... let alone this one. Her heart feels soft and achy in a way she doesn’t recognise … yet that feels like déjà vu. Sabina can’t quite place the feeling, just like she can’t quite place the voice. She looks up, lifting her face from her thighs. A tall, dark-skinned woman is kneeling beside her – Mystery Woman is so familiar it hurts – reaching out to touch her face. Sabina jerks back automatically, cringing away. The woman’s hand drops down, before it can make contact. Her dark eyes are soft and worried; now they go wide.
“Sabina…” she says in a hushed voice, thick with hidden meanings.

After each whumping, they get taken care of by each other (most of the time) ... awww.
The Angels are written as an OT3 (aka One True Threesome). They’re in an (established) polyamorous triad and an official spy-team: Sabina/Jane/Elena.
Their team is headed up by Bosley 342 (their ‘lieutenant’ aka handler) and Saint (their wellbeing officer): all together they’re an OT5 (basically, a team as family).
Each chapter is a short (or occasionally long) fanfic based on a whump prompt.Owww... 😅😏
