With a loud thud, Tim felt all the air being forced out of his lungs as his ribs crunched under his weight. Pain radiated through his body as he felt his skull hit the ground with tremendous force. His teeth sunk into his bottom lip, splitting it open as he crashed to the ground. The sound of clanging pipes echoed through the alley, accompanied by a loud ringing in Tim’s ears.
He laid there, breathless and winded, desperately hoping that he and Blonde Hair would make it out alive. Eventually Tim managed to stumble to his feet, but Blonde Hair was nowhere to be seen.
He tried to push himself off the ground, but the pain seared through him. The only thing that kept him afloat was the thought of his emergency beacon. Fumbling around, he finally managed to push it with the last bit of strength he had.
Tim heard strikingly familiar boots heading towards him as his vision went blurry. Boots that haunted his nightmares.
“Well, look what the Bat dragged in.” said a muffled cold voice as darkness pulled him in. “Hey, you can’t sleep here. This is a no sleeping zone. Red? Red!”

Jason is rudely awoken by one Mr. Timothy Drake on his doorstep, looking exhausted and barely holding himself up. Jason wasn’t sure what he was expecting Tim to say, but “i didn’t know where else to go.” Surely hadn’t crossed his mind much less with the kid passing out on him. This’ll be a long night.

Summary
There is a Russian phrase, Перед смертью не надышишься, or ‘you cannot breathe enough before death’. Tim wished he could tell you it was a cool idiom, but it was not. Although, Tim had always found the phrasing interesting even if it had a different meaning.
Because it was true, no amount of breathing could stop death from coming.

Summary
When Jack Drake’s business trip gets canceled, he is forced to stay at home while the legal kinks get worked out. He’s not used to having a teenager underfoot, so it’s only rational that he’s a little snappish around Tim. At least, that’s what Tim tells himself each time his dad’s idea of discipline gets harsher.
Bruce had told him to take a break from Robin in order to spend some time at home with his dad, and Tim can’t say no to that. He knows Bruce is probably glad to be rid of him for a short while.
And he can handle discipline. This is a Tim Drake problem, not a Robin problem anyway. There’s no need for Bruce to know anything.
Things get a little muddled when an injured Jason Todd crawls through his bedroom window.

Fuuuuck this was hard to get through. Too much felt way too familiar so I had to take it a little slow before I could finish it. It's a very realistic depiction of what's it like being a kid completely under the control of an angry father who will take even the slightest annoyance out on you. The writing on this was really well done. I almost noped out a couple times (due to no fault of the author) but I'm glad I stuck with it. Seeing Jason protect Tim and then the loving family bonding with the Waynes after was a balm.
