Summary
Tim is five years old when he drowns in his parents' pool. He dies quietly, waiting for parents who love him, but will never be there, to realise that something is wrong. They never show up, and he sinks into oblivion.
When he wakes up and claws his way out of the water, the sun has set, and the lights of his house are on. He is cold and wet and his lungs burn.
But most of all, Tim is alone.

Summary
Beth is eight years old and watching Scooby-Doo reruns with her little brother when she remembers that she died. Blood and twisted metal swim in her vision as the screen goes to static, and Jonathan’s too busy whining at the screen to notice the way she stops breathing.
Eventually, she lays down on the brown carpet and goes back to watching cartoons.(Jonathan is her little brother, and it’s her job to look after him while Mom watches Will.
Jonathan is six, and Beth is eight, and Beth is nineteen and dead.
She figures she can break down later, when he’s not there to see it.)

Will didn’t know how this was happening.
He didn’t know why.
But it was.
Even if he couldn’t trust his eyes, not always anyway, he trusted what he felt, tactile sensation, and everything he felt said that this was happening. His body didn’t have the aches and pains and scars he knew. There was no knot of scar tissue causing issues with his shoulder from being stabbed. No smile across his stomach from a linoleum knife or bullet wound in his non-stabbed shoulder.
He was his relatively untouched teenager self, brain too much for most to handle and awkward social abilities that had landed him a full-ride to Tulane off of his high IQ and ability to pass a test – so long as it wasn’t a psych exam, though now that he knew what he knew he’d be willing to bet that was changed.
In fact…as plans and plots started to come together, he was counting on it.
It would be a long game.
Almost twenty years.
A different Will would be sorry for all those who would die between then and now, let alone those that would come after, but as he sat down and began the first of many lists that would shape his future for the next decade or more, he didn’t feel any guilt at all.

Summary
Izuku chases after Kacchan, stays right on his heels as they both sprint through the gate and into the mock city.
“K-Kacchan,” Izuku calls out to his teammate. “W-We need to make a plan or something. It’s All Might so maybe we should just run ‘cause th-there’s no way we can fight him. It’s All Might.”
The hit to the face isn’t a surprise really.
A part of Izuku was even expecting it.
Was waiting to feel that familiar burning crackle against his skin, the long familiar scent of burnt caramel flooding his senses as pain ripples out across his face like spider web fractures in a foundation.
What is a surprise is the way that something in his mind just...
Shatters.

Summary
Soul-marks are everything in the magical world; you can only ever marry or date your soulmate, every person has exactly one mark and match, and even house-elves are slaves because of their lack of marks. The Killing Curse, Unforgivable because it erases the soul’s mark as well as killing the body, has no known survivors. Until it does, and Harry Potter goes to Hogwarts bereft of his mark, the subject of furious debate as to whether his presence dirties the school or if it should be allowed at all. As Harry learns more and more about the underpinnings of the magical world, his fury grows, and he allies with other outcasts to bring down the corrupt system.

Placed between his wife and his daughter, King Viserys I Targaryen made a decision he thought would appease everyone the night his granddaughter, Lucerys Velaryon, took the eye of his son, Aemond Targaryen. Lucerys would be punished but her eye would not be taken in return. Desiring to be seen as just as his grandfather was, Viserys would not beget violence with violence nor would he brush such actions to the side. The cracks in the family splintered further because of this-not only between the two factions but within the Blacks as well. Lucerys was forever changed because of this and it became everyone's problem.
