Summary
It’s his instincts and his voices who wake him up, as they are screaming wrong wrong wrong.
He is not alone.
There is a creature in his room. Techno blinks at the figure sitting on top of his blankets, right on the foot of his bed. It is still, and does not move.
“Did you break into my house to get away from the cold?” Techno asks.
The creature says nothing. It only pulls one of the blankets at the end of Techno’s bed closer to itself.
“Well if you’re gonna stay at least take another blanket,” Techno grumbles.
Techno doesn't expect for his hibernation to be interrupted by a strange creature who breaks into his house. He decides to let it stay. Throughout the winter, the creature wakes him up in intermissions until spring. Inviting them to stay turns out to be one of the best decisions he made.
Or, how Technoblade accidently befriends and adopts what he believes to be some sort of demon that visits in his sleep, but is actually just a curious shapeshifting child.

Summary
Tommy looks at the light that’s coming from under the door that's across from him. He holds his stuffed animal closer to him as he steps out of his room.
He reaches for the handle and toddles into the room, closing the door behind him.
He turned around and looked at his older brother whom was sitting at his desk with his laptop opened in front of him.
“Tech, I had a bad dream” Tommy’s voice was wobbly as he brought a hand up to wipe at the tears that continued to fall down his face.

Summary
“Uh— Phil?” The man calls over his shoulder, golden eyes never leaving Tommy’s face, “I need your help over here.”
Tommy bares his teeth, wings fluttering threateningly. He doesn’t want the man to get help, he wants him to go away.
Another man steps into view. This one is short and blonde, with wings a hundred times bigger than Tommy’s, and he’s dressed just as nice as the first man. He hasn’t seen Tommy yet; he’s looking at the big pink one. Mouth open like he’s going to speak.
Tommy hisses again, louder this time. And the man's head snaps towards him— which doesn’t scare Tommy. He doesn’t shrink back, doesn’t try to tuck away his wings with a whine. Because he’s big. He’s big and scary; nothing is scarier than him and he knows it, because he says it.
“Oh,” The man says softly, expression falling at his eyes dart across Tommy’s face. “Oh, mate.”

Tommy is a small little gooseboy who gets picked up by some bewildered ambassadors and their son. Shenanigans ensue.

“I feel like this is going to go terribly.” Technoblade mutters, fiddling with the device in hand, jolting when he finally gets the taser to work, a crack of electricity sounding out.
There’s a yelling and a crash further down the store. Wilbur assumes that the traps worked.
“It’ll be fine.” Wilbur waves off, ignoring the way the toddler in his arms is looking incredibly unhappy. “Here, hold Tommy for me, I’m going to go grab that bat on the ground.”
