Everything about him reeks of verisimilitude, of a rawness that taunts Steve and the carefully constructed crown he's tried so hard to leave behind.
It isn't in his nature. Steve is made of brick and bone, a wall around everyone he's ever loved, and that's all that matters, in the end.-
