Summary
“The machinations of the Hunt will continue to haunt these lands,” Flins tells Varka, a kiss left to the strong line of his jaw. “Cleansing takes time.”
“Then the wind can’t take me home yet.” Varka’s hands are rough, calloused, and the pads of fingers press to the soft lines of Flins’s waist. Drop to Flins’s front, to thumb at hip bones and down to the crease of thighs.

Summary
Two moons had passed since Flins began living in Mondstadt, beneath the same roof as Varka. Several weeks had passed since their wedding beneath the high arches of the Mondstadt church, when spring was still young and the air smelled of new leaves and thawed stone. Their vows had been spoken clearly, their hands joined before the altar, yet the marriage itself remained unconsummated. Them being both alphas might face some problem in their marriage.
“Something like this would not break me. I trust you more than anyone. You should trust yourself too, Varka.”

Summary
At their university, there’s one golden ticket everyone whispers about: the prestigious housing grant that covers full rent for students living with their partners. It’s supposed to be progressive, celebrating “non-traditional domestic partnerships.” But for Varka and Flins, it feels more like a lifeline.
Rejected for individual aid and running out of options, they’re desperate enough to do the unthinkable: lie. Pretend to be a couple. Share an apartment. Keep the act believable. Easy, right?
Except, of course. Nothing about faking a relationship is ever that simple.

Summary
“Marry me, Kyryll.”
While basking in the usual afterglow one night, Varka pulls out a ring from the bedside table. Flins lifts his head from the man’s broad chest— very much like a curious cat— and eyes the offering.
Varka finally proposes to the love of his life— a humble ratnik from Nod-Krai.

Summary
“What about you, my love? Do you prefer a boy? A girl?”
Varka hums, seriously pondering the question. “You know I don't mind either, moonlight,” He declares after a while, “But imagine a tiny girl with two moons for her eyes just like yours. She would have beautiful, silky, dark hair that we can put in braids or pigtails!”
"Is that so?” Flins can't help the smile on his lips. “I wouldn't mind either as well. But think about a boy, with blue eyes like the clear sky, hair the color of wheat, and a laughter that brings everyone joy.”
Varka laughs, reaching up to kiss Flins softly. “Then how about twins? A boy and a girl at once?”
Flins smacks his head lightly at that comment. “Certainly, if you don't mind being the one birthing them.”
A day in the life of Flins and one unborn beloved little light.

Summary
Varka corners Flins, pressing him against the wall and hiding him away from potential prying eyes. He leans down to whisper heatedly, jealousy oozing from his voice.
“You know other men?”
Flins just stares at him, a blank expression on his face as he deadpans.
“…I’m nearly seven-hundred years old.”In which Varka is jealous but Flins finds it absolutely adorable.

Summary
in which flins is down bad for varka, nefer is down bad for lauma, and both enter an agreement to set each other up with their respective sweethearts.
“..some of these phenomena occur particularly in and around Amsvartnir, so I’d recommend the Lightkeepers join forces with the Knights of Favonius.” Nefer looks straight at where she senses Flins’ face to be. “Though, am I wrong in saying that you may prefer to collaborate with Mr. Varka alone?”
Flins hesitates ever so slightly, and Nefer knows she's struck gold. “Miss Nefer, I must say, I don’t quite understand your meaning in—“
“Save it,” interrupts Nefer. “You. And the Knight of Boreas. I’m sure you understand what I’m getting at.”
Nefer is not provided with a response for several seconds, but when he does, it’s with the slightest trace of a smirk in his voice.
Flins claps Nefer’s shoulder. “You. And the Lady Moonchanter of the Frostmoon Scions. I take it that we mean the same thing here.”

Summary
Varka flashes a lopsided smile, teeth bright and straight as a royal cemetery. "The Flagship managed to smuggle some Dandelion Wine," He says. "I had to get some bottles! The Dawn Winery doesn't do business in Snezhnaya. Something about a, let's say… phase the young Master Diluc went through."
His voice is slanted with alcohol and heat. He looks out of place in Nasha town. Romantic, not constructivist. Eyes like crystalflies, blood that watercolours his cheeks pink. Hyperborean hair. Flins has a twitch in his wrist to steal a couple locks for his collection. He's never seen hair so golden.

Summary
“Drink.”
No drink if you want. No give it a try, dandelion wine is the best. There was no room left for Flins to say no. And frankly, Flins didn’t want to say no anyway.
Flins took a natural sip from the glass; not too much, and not too little. Just enough for his throat to bobble and to draw Varka’s attention to it.
For the first time, he was close enough to what he wanted to hear. Varka might finally shape his movements, his choices, and Flins wanted it. He wanted to surrender his choices to Varka’s hands. He wanted it badly.
Varka was a very accommodating person. Always watching, always adjusting, so no one had to feel uncomfortable. Whether for the Knights or for his friends, he never changed.
Flins believed it was a beautiful thing. Humans were fragile and needed that coddling. But he was not human. He needed Varka to stop asking him what he wanted and to start giving him orders.

Summary
At this proximity, a dull pressure settled in his chest. The air felt wrong. Weighted. Strained. As if something on the other side of the door were pulling at him. He recognized the feeling. Distress, with close and fraying edges.
The door creaked open, and the scent of Frostlamp Flower drifted in, quickly drowned by blood and the bitter tang of abyssal corruption.
Flins stilled.
Leaning against the doorway was a knight, at least by attire. A blackened breastplate bore the crest of the Knights of Favonius, its surface dulled by sand and grime.

Summary
Varka has spent forty years making sure "biology" is never an excuse. He may be an alpha, but more importantly, he's a Grand Master, the Knight of Boreas, the sort of man who has enough self-control to walk away from any omega in heat if there isn't a ring on both their fingers.
He never felt the need to question this. Not before he met a certain (too-charming) lightkeeper he soon fell half in love with. Even though Flins is definitely a beta... This proves that Nod-Krai's stories about "moonmad" Fae whisking alphas away never to be seen again are just that: stories. They have to be, because the Fae in those stories—creatures of light and hunger that smell sweeter than sin itself—don't sound anything like Flins at all...

Summary
“I did not expect to see you work as the Starshyna’s messenger boy,” Varka said with a relaxed, almost all-knowing smile. “What happened to Illuga?”
“Nothing,” Flins said. “The Starshyna you might try to steal him away from the Ratniki. It is more appropriate if I come instead.”
Varka had to find something funny in Flins’s half-truth, laughing first and then tapping his chin pensively. “Is he not afraid of me trying to steal you away? I’ll say, it seems like his judgment isn’t as sharp as he’d want it to be.”
Varka was a very touch-oriented person. Always clapping shoulders, patting backs, or holding onto his friends’ arms when he laughed too hard. Flins wanted to feel that for himself.
But when he had it, it felt shallow. He missed the lingering touches, their feet playing under the table, their hands gravitating towards one another. He wanted Varka to hold him and never let go.
It was a lot to ask because Varka did not belong to the graveyard or to Nod-Krai. He belonged to his family back in Mondstadt, whom he had never spoken to Flins about.
Because for the first time, it was Flins who was temporary—not the other way around.

Summary
“Sir Varka, if I may ask,”
“Yea- Whoa! Flins?!”
Varka froze solid before he could even finish the first word of his reply, blue eyes wide as an owl with his hands instinctively thrown into air.
Because why was Kyryll Chudomirovich Flins, the elegant gentleman of a fae who had always maintained a polite distance, pressing himself flat against Varka’s body with his face nuzzled into the midline of Varka’s chest, all while shamelessly slotting his leg right between the knight’s?
And those eyes, those damn irises bright as stars in the night sky that was Flins’s dark-rimmed eyes and shadow-like hair, were half-lidded and gazing straight into Varka’s very soul.
“Why haven’t you bedded me yet?”

Summary
He faces Flins the same way he faces his enemies, leading warriors to victory like he commands Flins’ attention, his body, his mind. Most nights, Flins can meet him right in the middle, sometimes even overtake him, falling into bed with an enthusiasm and vigor that leaves them both sweaty and breathless late into the night. Tonight, though, he’s weighed down by fatigue and the emotional turmoil of hormones, and he lets himself be easily swept up into the riot that is Varka’s control.
Or, Flins is on his period, and Varka is more than willing to remind him his love has no requisites.

Summary
The low affirmative noise that leaves Flins’ mouth lands on Varka’s lips. “I find myself unable to resist the opportunity to hide in plain sight like Miss Columbina. Your stay here is a fortuitous opportunity to practice.”
“Practice?” Varka pants, still confused but distracted enough by Flins’ clever fingers undoing his belt to care that he’s dumbly repeating what Flins is saying.
“Do you prefer the day,” Flins’ breath ghosts over the shell of Varka’s ear, “or the night?”
On the eve of Moon Prayer Night, Flins visits Varka at the Flagship.
