He had spent years wishing on every 11:11 that they would get a second chance, and now that they have, Izuku must deal with the consequences of being in love with someone who hates him more than they could ever love themself.

He was fine with that. All of it…but, now what?
The option to be a teacher at U.A.? To guide the prominent youth and future heroes whilst he succumbs—er, lives in the shadow of his old self?

Izuku smirked, fingers fidgeting with his new notebooks.

Summary
If this were anything like the comics, Izuku Midoriya being quirkless would be the norm while heroes would be treated as a rarity. As it stands, everyone’s got a super power, except for Izuku, of course. No worries, though, because he’s over it (nope) and has moved on to bigger and better things (again, nope) like working at a tiny comic book shop and indulging in stories where being able to lift a bus with your bare hands was deemed impossible until proven otherwise.
Oh, and running into your heroic ex-boyfriend? Also unlikely. But Izuku’s life isn’t like a comic book (maybe?) and Katsuki Bakugou is standing right in front of him: still perfect, still handsome, and still putting his combat booted foot in his mouth.
[Or: AU where Izuku works at a comic book shop because that’s as close to a hero as he’s gonna get, and Katsuki plays the part of heroic ex-boyfriend who is good at everything except winning Izuku back... maybe]

Bakugou Katsuki is fine. He is fine. Sure, he has nightmares every time he close his eyes. Sure, he hasn't had more than 4 hours of sleep a night in 6 years. Sure, he spirals in his head a lot. Sure, he spends an hour every day just sitting with a gravestone and maybe sometimes hears that voice. But he's fine. Because he can fucking deal with it.
And when his stupid friends want to go to a haunted house for a Youtube video, he's going with them. Because he's not afraid of ghosts, he's not afraid of monsters, he's not afraid of the dark, and he's not afraid of that stupid house. Not anymore.
