Summary
Born into an affluent family, Kim Taehyung enjoyed a privileged childhood and was said to be unusually intelligent at an early age. There were haunting signs of what has to come and no one actually expected that. He was a member of a group of decent and intellectual teenagers that turned out to be his brother's close friends. They cosseted Taehyung very well since he was the youngest and Taehyung didn't like it at all. Because of this, he was restricted to meet the group's ace, Jeon Jungkook, for the reason that he might influence Kim Taehyung. Jeon Jungkook has a destructive behavior and hostile background.
Little did they know, just because of a childish peck, everything led them to a problematic situation in their adulthood that changed everything.

After the rescue. When her mother makes a questionable choice that leaves Natalie without support, she's forced to move to Portland, OR to live with Travis and his mother, the last people she ever wanted to rely on. It quickly turns out that avoiding the past is equally hard in a suburban setting. Living together isn't only about claustrophobic spaces, nosy family members, or revisiting old feelings; it's about survival.
Or, Natalie and Travis each get a clean slate in a new environment.

Four days to secure a dress, secure some booze, and secure a date that she wouldn't regret the next morning after her hangover. The first two were pretty easy, it was the third box that the girl just couldn't seem to check off.
Natalie Scatorccio loved to half-ass things, whether it be school, relationships, and anything that wasn't soccer or smoking. That way she had an easy excuse for when things didn't go right.

While many within the government didn't believe it would work, the doctors may have been closer than believed possible...OR
I came up with this idea really late last night, and I decided to make it come to life. It's really hard to summarize, but its a real world/modern Stranger Things AU, where the government was inspired by Stranger Things, and started to try to give kids powers. Also following one girl who made it out of the labs, and her story.
