    𝐘𝐔𝐌𝐄𝐌𝐈 𝐌𝐈𝐔𝐑𝐀's daily life involves everything that needs breaking the law. Drug dealing, weapon dealing, black market, murders. Familiar with all of them, being closer to death than life. As a member of the mafia, she even got a nickname "Ningyō" - to show how empty she's on the inside, despite her outside beauty.

    𝐒𝐇𝐔𝐍𝐓𝐀𝐑Ō 𝐂𝐇𝐈𝐒𝐇𝐈𝐘𝐀 focuses on saving lives, trying to find out if his own is worth saving. Ever since he started college and even as a surgical intern, he hasn't been able to find the answer to his question. He claims that he lives only to show others how empty a human can be.

    Despite theoretical differences, they see each other as their reflection, but in another person. Both unaware of the meaning of life. Both empty as porcelain dolls.

    He breathes against Chishiya’s mouth, wet heat between them, his hand still working. Chishiya’s own hand comes up to Arisu’s throat in mirror. The touch is light. The intention isn’t.

    “Do you trust me?” Chishiya asks, almost absentminded. There’s more static in his voice now, less velvet.

    Arisu lets out a short laugh because the word is ridiculous here, now, forever. He thinks trust is a door with hinges rusted from the inside; he thinks he can lean against it and use it without asking it to open. “No,” he says.

    Chishiya’s mouth sharpens. “Good boy,” he says, and it isn’t praise like sugar; it’s a properly labeled vial.

    "I did not come here to get drunk with you." Kuzuryu's voice is flat, without emotion. "I came here because I was under the assumption you had business to discuss with me."

    Or, Hatter and Kuzuryu have a talk. It's not easy living in the Borderlands, even when you're the leader of a self-proclaimed utopia. Insanity is sometimes defined as the act of doing the same thing over and over again with the expectation that things will change. At the end of the day, though, we can only be as sane as the world we are in.

This ensures that not only the remaining members, but also people they know, are drawn into a mixed parallel universe in which they have to fight for survival on a daily basis. In the process, they discover new sides to themselves, cross their own and others' boundaries and work together to unravel the knot in Chan's heart in order to separate all the universes from each other again. Of course, this event is not just about the universe, but Chan would have to manage it alone.

Dies sorgt dafür, dass nicht nur die restlichen Mitglieder, sondern auch denen bekannte Menschen, in ein vermischtes Paralleluniversum gezogen werden, worin sie täglich ums Überleben kämpfen müssen. Dabei entdecken sie neue Seite von sich, überschreiten deren eigenen und anderer Grenzen und arbeiten gemeinsam daran, den Knoten in Chans Herzen aufzulösen, um alle Universen wieder voneinander zu trennen. Natürlich ist dieses Geschehen nicht nur dem Universum zu verschreiben, jedoch müsste Chan dies alleine bewältigen.
