Meanwhile, Jenny begins to develop motherly feelings toward Matilda, having been in a similar place to the girl during her own childhood.
Canon until Chapter 13: The Weekly Test—except for one thing: Miss Trunchbull becomes Mr Trunchbull, but his personality is exactly the same as his canon counterpart's. Also, Matilda does not have magical powers in this version; I wanted this story to be more realistic than the original Matilda.
