His right one is open and stares blankly up at the ceiling, unfocused and unseeing. His left hand is twitching, sitting in a pool of blood which is slowly spreading from his head. The smell of blood is coppery and thick, and for a moment Fay stops breathing.
He’s gone and killed himself.
