Exposed. He feels awfully vulnerable, violated just from his physical existence being perceived. It was nauseating how they looked at him because he could tell. He could tell he looked wrong, he wasn't supposed to be looked at.
Or Taph loses his clothes and the other survivors do their best to substitute. (Every chapter is a different survivor helping).
Edit: this sounds a bit freaky but I promise it's not what it sounds like, losing his clothes means like his cloak gets ripped and he has to replace it and stuff 😭[Can be ready as platonic or ship.]

Summary
1x1x1x1 was a tragedy through and through. Those who knew them could attest to that fact. Shedletsky could attest to that fact. But what if they were brought back to before their wings were torn off and they were cast into the fires of the Banlands. What would they do differently? More importantly what could they do to take revenge on the pathetic chicken that ruined their life in the first place. Oh and figure out who was causing this time travel.
Tldr: 1x wakes up in the past back to their childhood and decides to make it their mission to get revenge on Shedletsky/Telamon in this lifetime, accidentally leading to the best outcome for everyone.

Wait, heat? So that was what Shedletsky had meant.
Builderman had now quickly (and correctly,) realized that Taph was, in fact, not sick. Well, atleast... not sick in a typical, human sort of way.

Telamon’s breath stuttered. Barely—but enough. The heat roared through him, eating at his self-control with every passing second, and this man had the gall to sit there with that smug smile like Telamon wasn’t burning alive from the inside out.
“You have no idea,” Telamon bit out, voice low, “what you’ve walked into tonight.”
Or, Telamon calls Builderman because of an emergency. That emergency being the need to desperately breed him.

1x finally gets their wings!! Owch……
Shedletsky knew that 1x was going to get her wings later on in life, however he was unprepared by how unpredictable it’d be. Growing wings is EXTREMELY painful and shedletsky knows the feeling.
Taph doesn’t because I headcanon them to be another one of Shedletskys creations when he was Telamon, so he was already born with the wings not having to grow them.
Shedletsky and Brighteyes are also married so Brighteyes, Shedletsky, Taph and 1x are a bird family!! (Minus Brighteyes. She’s a cat lololol)

1x1x1x1 and Dusekkar had a deep bond before the events and being forsakened — is their bond really that deep and strong to survive anything?
