Summary
Thelan isn't running from her past; rather, she's trying to atone for it. After leaving her home planet, studying to become a doctor, and pursuing her research project with passion, she ends up on one of the many loading bays of Tipoca City on the planet Kamino, awaiting her newest assignment.
The Bad Batch doesn't exactly appear thrilled to be getting saddled with a natborn medical officer. But as more and more of their missions start to hint at something bigger at work in the galaxy, and Thelan must confront a blast from her past, it becomes increasingly clear that someone, or something, is hidden in the shadows, pulling the strings.

Cass is a simple farm girl, when she was 18 she met a clone on a research 'competition' with his brothers who had been sent to her homeworld Corvis-A for his assignment. (Only he went to Corvis-A his brothers were elsewhere)
A few months after he had left, separatists took control of her world. She decided to become a spy for the republic but just after turning 21, she is discovered.
