Athens, Ancient Greece, 430 BC.
An unknown pathogen which would be known as The Plague of Athens has been ravaging the ancient Greek city, killing thousands and thousands with no end in sight, and just outside the walls surrounding the devastation, a guilt-wracked angel and a raging, despairing demon seek refuge from a violent downpour and the stench of death in an old, abandoned dwelling.
And under the heaviness of what's happening just outside the hut and the relentlessly pressing weight of their forbidden desire for the other, they crumble.

Summary
The first time seeing Crowley in four years, after becoming the Supreme Archangel of Heaven, Aziraphale is forced to witness the Metatron first torture, then triumphantly turn Crowley over to Satan, who turns up in-person to take possession of his wayward tempter. Satan has permanent plans for Crowley to make him forever Hell's. Those plans include payment for his betrayal of Hell, with Satan himself in his blackstone room - the space where Crowley has been only twice before, yet where his deepest nightmares, and longest screams reside.
Meanwhile, Aziraphale discovers an ever increasing pit of corruption in Heaven where nothing is as it seems - Archangels are missing that no one remembers even exist, and Heaven itself has been changed without anyone seeming to notice. All to cement the Metatron's control and achieve his vision. The Metatron didn't count on Crowley upending Hell in the process of surviving, or Aziraphale Clue-ing out everything he wasn't supposed to, while trying to get his demon back..... Oh well.... Too bad for him…

Aziraphale e Crowley sono felicemente sposati da due anni, vivono nel loro amato cottage vicino al mare, finalmente liberi dalle loro fazioni.
Crowley aiuta i compaesani con la cura dei loro giardini e Aziraphale collabora con la biblioteca locale del loro piccolo paese.
Un giorno, uno dei loro.vicini porta ad Aziraphale un suo libro di poesie, del quale desidera donare i proventi all ospedale locale che ha curato il nipote da una brutta malattia.
I due decidono di creare un evento di beneficenza destinato alla promozione del libro,con all interno un concorso di poesia per chiunque desideri cimentarsi in ciò.
Crowley è pronto a sostenere Aziraphale con Maggie, Nina e Muriel, peccato che all evento, inaspettatamente, si presentino anche Michael e Dagon...che intenzioni avranno? -

Nulla di che, piccolo spaccato di quotidianità già bello che pronto da una vita in attesa della challenge giusta in quel del South Downs per Aziraphale e Crowley post secondo Avvento, tra convivenza e scaramucce di coppia, nuovi vicini ingombranti e tanta serenità, quella che tipo il 200% del fandom si auspica abbiamo nel.finale, si meritano tutto.il.domestic fluffy del mondo!
E inoltre, volevo la scusa per riusare Crowley versione serpente e col capello lungo in versione umana, che adoro tanto 🤣♥️
PS: penso che questa sarà la cosa più simile al Canon finale, non so se li faranno effettivamente sposare nel senso del termine, ma se me li fanno finire felici e contenti insieme nella loro casetta, a me sta benissimo uguale(e detta da me, che sposerei chiunque!)

Storia semplicissima: è il primo Capodanno che Aziraphale e Crowley passano insieme dopo seimila anni, sono finalmente insieme nel loro cottage adorato nel South Downs, sono felicemente sposati e Crowley ipotizza che il suo angelo voglia passarlo al Ritz a fare festa tutta la notte...non immagina assolutamente che Aziraphale abbia altri piani per lui, piani che lo aiuteranno ancora una volta a guardare tutto il buono della sua vita e tutto ciò che ha fatto di buono da sempre.
Il titolo è tratto da un pezzo del freestyle di Alfa in duetto con Roberto Vecchioni sulle note di una bellissima canzone del professore che amo molto:"Sogna, ragazzo, sogna..." Non sembra scritto apposta per Crowley? ❤️- Language:

Aziraphale bursts out, “what do you need me to do? I’ve already admitted that you were right. And that I was wrong. Do you need me to — shall I do a little dance for you?”
That, at least, gets Crowley to open his eyes, a curious eyebrow hiking up into his forehead.
What on Earth would a dance even do?
Besides, everyone knows that angels don’t dance.
Aziraphale seems to take that as encouragement, though, and quickly pushes himself to his feet.
Five times that Aziraphale did the I Was Wrong dance, and one time that Crowley stopped him.
