Summary
Lieutenant Commander Data and fellow crew members find themselves displaced from their own reality and struggling to find a way back home.
Shortly before the accident, Data made a breakthrough discovery that he possesses innate android emotions, previously overlooked in his quest to be more human. Data must grapple with his new awareness of these mental states, adding to a program he has been writing to evoke human-style emotional responses as he interprets their meanings over time.
The alternative universe crew of the Enterprise provides ample opportunity for Data to explore his feelings in general, and about his best friend in particular.

Summary
"Stay," Was all he said, "Please," Data just nodded, sitting down once again. He drank some more.
"So you promised something you can't follow through on. That's okay, the Captain will understand. It happens," Geordi attempted to convince Data.
"It should not be the case. I am an android, I-"
"Still have the capacity to make mistakes. You can't be perfect all the time, no one can,"
Data just stared at him.
"You are," He said. Geordi stopped talking, heat rushing to his cheeks.
"I- what?" He asked, incredulous.
"Apologies," Data said, looking anywhere but Geordi. "I had not intended to voice that thought. Perhaps I do need a break, after all,"
Geordi smiled, and Data tilted his head.
"What is it?" He asked.
"Just good to have you back," Geordi replied._______________
Or, Data realises the only way he can clear his mind is through physical touch. And the only person he wants it from is more than willing to help.

Summary
Data had stayed close to her on the short journey, but she didn’t feel threatened. Not like she did with some men. Most men. No, she didn’t feel threatened, but she did feel a sudden rush of embarrassment and awkwardness when the two of them stepped over the threshold of her quarters and she was hit by the memory of what the two of them had done together during Data’s first foray into her private space.
Or
Tasha is violently reminded of her years on Turkana IV, Data is a good friend, and they realize that their pasts may be more similar than they initially thought.

Summary
Geordi, across many cultures, it is customary for lovers to exchange recorded communications while in each other’s absence.
You’re suggesting we send each other subspace video messages while I’m at the conference this week?
That is correct. Is this suggestion amenable to you?
Absolutely. I’ll take any chance I can get to see your face.
Was that meant as a flirtatious remark?
Yes, Data.
We (GaHoolianGirl and strangesaturday) decided to try and experiment with the collaboration formula- we wrote messages from the respective perspectives of Data and Geordi sending them to each other, sharing them only once they were done just like our boys would have.

Summary
Data isn't overly familiar with the Enterprise's sickbay. It's unlikely he'll ever be a patient there, after all, and so far he's only had incidental reason to stop by.
But he's very familiar with the waiting room.

It is no less meaningful, Geordi, because I have already died, or that you waited until the evening of our lives to tell me.
When Geordi visits Data’s cottage, he brings his friends, an overnight bag and enough unspoken words to fill a continuum.

You could have chosen anyone. You've met hundreds of people throughout your life. So, really, you could have chosen anyone.
But it wasn't merely anyone that you chose. No, see — that would have been too easy.
It had to be Data, right?
You just had to fall in love with the one person entirely incapable of ever loving you back.
At least... for now, anyway.

Summary
Data was built to learn– to adapt and grow and experience all that life had to offer. Well, almost all of it. At some point, he seemed to have accepted his limits, and the fact that he would never feel the way his friends did. But he may have underestimated just how far his programming could go.
(a fic about Data learning to feel on his own because we don’t need no damn emotion chip)

Summary
“Wait a minute. ‘Relationship’? What ‘relationship’?” Geordi asked incredulously. He could already feel the headache coming back.
“Your romantic involvement,” Worf replied blankly, “With Lieutenant Commander Data.”
“My what now?”
A simple misunderstanding had caused over half the crew of the Enterprise to believe in a romantic relationship between Lieutenant Commander Data and Chief Engineer Geordi La Forge. While almost everyone on board the ship eagerly spread the false information around, Geordi and Data had managed to finally come in terms with their feelings for one another with the help of friends.

Summary
William Riker has been enamored with Lieutenant Commander Data ever since first meeting him, standing alone against a tree in a tropical forest holodeck program, attempting (and failing) to whistle. He adored the way the android explained everything in perfect detail, the way he studied the human condition and learned everything he could about human culture. And so, one day, he invites him to a picnic, set up in the same holodeck program where they first met, to romance him in the most human way possible.
