Summary
Dazai Osamu was born Tsushima Shuji, the tenth child of a political family of ability users. Before meeting Mori Ougai, the future boss of Port Mafia, Shuji had to navigate challenges within his own family, as well as their powerful connections.

Summary
A human being without feelings is a silent echo in the desert of their own existence. They are not a monster with sharp teeth, but an absence, an empty house where there was never laughter or tears. Their skin is a map of scars that don't hurt, their eyes are mirrors that reflect nothing. They are a spectator of their own life, a ghost walking among the living, imitating gestures they never understand.
They do not know the sting of sadness or the light of joy. There is no love to lift them up nor anger to consume them. Only silence. A deep silence that extends from their mind to the end of their days. Their destiny is not glory or hell, but the cold indifference of a stone. Such a being has no story to tell, only an existence to fulfill, like a tool without purpose.
They may be human, or unworthy of being considered human.

“Right through here.” The girl said, her expression remaining unreadable. “The doctor will be right with you.” As she turned to walk back down the hall, her expression morphed into a look that Dazai knew all too well. Pity. The door swung open a few minutes later revealing a slim man wearing a white coat. He had warm eyes and a pleasant smile. Dazai was instructed to sit upon a raised bed in the corner of the room, when he sat, the thin plastic lining crinkled beneath him. The boy felt a sense of unease wash over him when he noticed the look Dr. Ogai was giving him. The man’s eyes were cloudy and his face had an expression Dazai had never seen before.
