Summary
Runaway princess (Rook) saves cursed prince (Lucanis) from an evil witch's (Zara) tower.
They embark on an adventure to cure him from his curse and help him regain his crown in a wild fairytale medley.Like any Rookanis story of mine, this one sticks to certain central elements of Lucanis personal story.
There will be romance and humor and 4th wall breaks and elements of horror (because fairytales are weird like that). Inspirations include Diana Wynne Jones (Howl's Moving Castle), Catherynne Valente (The Girl Who Circumnavigated Fairyland in a Ship of her own Making) and Ursula Vernon/T. Kingfisher (A Sorceress Come to Call). -

Summary
Lucanis disliked the West. It was wild, hot, and dry. There were no good cafés, but mostly, it was crawling with Venatori.
Until the contract for Calivan, he’d seen them as little more than targets — easy bounties.
A year locked away in the Ossuary changed that. Now, he hated the West and every last member of that blood cult.
Escaping had nearly cost him his life. He needed medical attention, and worse, he had his own guardian demon named Spite. That was how they stumbled upon the mortician in a small town called Nevarra.
Emmrich was everything the Crows had trained Lucanis not to be — empathetic, merciful, and above all, kind. Lucanis owed him a debt for the healing, and over time, he learned how life in this strange town worked.
There was still revenge to take. Still contracts left unfulfilled.
But there was also Emmrich.
Maybe he didn’t hate the West as much as he thought.

Summary
Calivan,
The other wardens don't want to go near that Crow's cell anymore. Can't we get someone else to do it? Slaves, maybe?
– OvidiusOvidius,
You are fortunate. A new shipment of slaves has arrived from Tevinter. One among them has already proven… difficult. I have no patience for insolence. If she survives feeding our little Crow, perhaps she will learn obedience. If not, then she serves her purpose as carrion.
Either way, you will not have to soil your hands with this duty again.
—Calivan–––––
Prisoners AU
Or what if Rook had been captured, enslaved, and dragged into the Ossuary? What if there, in the heart of that underwater prison, she came face-to-face with the Crows’ deadliest mage-killer Lucanis Dellamorte, possessed by a Demon of Spite?A tale of survival, corruption, and defiance, where freedom has a price and vengeance might be the only light left in the deep.

Summary
A spirit of Determination is called to the Ossuary and forced into the form of a demon. However, Lucanis Dellamorte isn't the only Crow in Thedas who's heart is twisted by Spite.
----------
"And this one." Spite set its gaze on Rook like a predator sizing up its prey. "She is ..." The demon paused to take another long, exaggerated inhale. "Delicious," it sighed wistfully. "Heart full of bitterness. Anger. Frustration. Loneliness."
The demon paused again when its gaze met the Crow’s from across the room. Its host was doing his best to maintain his mask of stoicism, but Spite could see the spark of fear in his eyes as he watched Spite leaning over the woman’s short frame. The demon's grin widened as it purred, "This one knows me."

Summary
What if "Dragon Age: The Veilguard" was not stuck in such a development hell? What if Project Joplin had not wholly been abandoned? What if we truly had received a game more in line with the first three?
A hypothetical look into an alternate universe where the fourth Dragon Age had a tad fewer problems in its 10-year development cycle.
Disclaimer: I don't hate the game, I actually think it's quite great given the development hell Bioware went through in those 10 years. This is more of a hypothetical universe where there was less of that behind-the-scenes drama. Just a fun writing exercise.

Rhaenyra Mercar was sent to infiltrate the Ossuary eighteen months ago only to become a guest the underground prison and subject of it's experimentation. She's used to going at things alone and being left behind so she makes the best out of a bad situation.
Days after receiving a new call mate, Rhaenyra is rescued by the Antivan Crows and takes her first steps in a journey to recovery. The outside world is big and scary after being trapped for so long, but it's okay because this time she has a demon and a crow on her side who is just as damaged as she is. Summary
It all weaves together in her mind like shimmering golden threads forming a pattern that she can trace over and follow closely. Around and around, upward and back. She untangles it all, smoothing out the snarls, before lacing it back together once more. That nagging feeling in the recess of her mind grows more insistent. Same as the one she would often get in Arlathan; a precursor to the catastrophic eruption of an artifact or the heralding sign of a disturbance in the Fade just before it manifested into an anomaly. That niggling indication of trouble.

Summary
The waterline is far above his head now, but he still breathes, and so Lucanis thinks about dying. It is an inevitability, a certainty, a force greater than any other; compared to it, Calivan and his tools and Zara Renata with her red, red hands are nothing. For all that they are are powerful, for all that the magic the two of them possess is steeped in the lifeblood of others, the dark tide will still take them and in it they will drown.

Summary
Six years ago, Lucanis and Enlee spent a night together in Treviso.
Neither one of them expected this sort of reunion.
With gods to fight, family to avenge, and a demon to contend with, it seems best for their past to stay a pleasant memory. They can ignore the spark between them if it means saving the world and protecting each other.
But leaving things unsaid might be more dangerous than facing the truth.

Summary
Illario Dellamorte has only ever wanted a few things in life; Respect, power, and to feel worthy and deserving of both.
Perhaps seeking validation in the arms of a Venatori woman was not the answer, but Illario found himself in a twisted and bloody alliance with Magister Zara Renata, with a plan that would change everything.
But there was also Esha, a young man from another House and the younger half-brother of Fifth Talon Viago de Riva. Illario had met him when he'd been assigned to train him in seduction, and ever since then their relationship had been complicated. Illario knew it would never work, and getting too involved would ruin his plans with Zara...
It would be so much easier for him to think it all through and choose if it weren't for all these damned headaches...

Summary
In 9.51 Lucanis Dellamorte was hired to kill a Tevinter altus. Something went wrong on the job and he ended up in the Ossuary to be tortured and implanted with a demon. A year later, he met his target again.
Rook blinked up at her attacker, clutching the wrist of the hand that choked her. He was thinner, with a full beard and dark circles under his eyes, but she still recognized him. Lucanis Dellamorte, the Demon of Vyrantium. He was alive, somehow, even after a year in Zara's possession. Even in this pit of death.
"Lucanis," she said, voice a choked whisper. She squeezed his wrist and reached up her other hand to touch his chest. "Your name is Lucanis Dellamorte."
Something changed in his face. She felt a flare of Fade energy and his eyes flickered purple. He leaned down, sniffing her. "Not blood. Not ashes. Smells of. Ice and honey."

Summary
Lucanis wanted one thing out of life, and that was to make good coffee. Unfortunately, the circumstances of his birth demanded that he kill people for money.
Rook was in love with the baristo at Cafe Pietra. Unfortunately, she didn't even know his name.
...
Set mainly in Treviso, Rook is a college student with a crush on the local baristo at her favorite cafe. Little does she know, he's actually a master assassin--one who might just be able to help her prevent the university from shutting down the exchange program that keeps her from being sent back to Minrathous.
(Alternative plotline, kind of a coffee shop AU that plays with elements of canon later on.) -

Summary
It seems these days, Lucanis Dellamorte's jobs are never simple. His contract? Kill one Magister Ferris Henric.
As a Crow, Caterina's chosen no less, he's supposed to do his job and return for the next one. However, he hadn't accounted on finding life, intelligent life, in this workshop. Lucanis finds himself at a crossroads. Remedy the situation himself, or walk away, job completed, and hope no one else comes across this place and finishes the magister's work themselves.
Good thing Illario wasn't here.To her, this was everything. She had heard talk of this supposed world outside this dark chamber. Here she was surrounded by things similar but not quite the same as her. Her time for freedom was limited, that she knew, but each attempt at freedom was met with sharp, shocking punishments.
Then one day, someone new stood before her. Clothes stained red as he regarded her with eyes that seemed cold, but like her enclosure, it was merely a barrier between her and the world.
