Summary
Emotions are complex and hard to understand for normal people with average lives who grew up in stable homes. Byleth had Jeralt, a mercenary company, just over a year and a half of experience with feelings if he discounted the coma, and an ongoing series of lethal problems after his students as well as a war to manage. Also, he suspected he wouldn't have been the best with them even without all that given the fondly caustic comments Sothis had made before he lost her. That wasn't the best setup for gaining a new skill, but he thought he was getting better with them.
“Some people find the process more fraught than others though,” Mercedes kindly said over Sylvain's laughter. Byleth wasn't sure what she meant: he didn't find anything about this distressing.
"We know," Ingrid sighed. Odd.

After taking Enbarr, Byleth found that managing armies remained less confusing than the Deers' new conspiracy. Which he would have ignored if not for his conviction that their meddling involved Dimitra, which was unacceptable. Anything regarding his Lions was his business, especially if it was Dimitra. She was his house leader, after all.

The Gautiers raised two heirs to the Throne. Two heirs who shared the same ruffly red hair. The eldest, Miklan Gautier wished his hardest for a crest. However, that blessing was given to his twin younger siblings. Born on June 5th, 1160 were the heirs to the Gautier name.
Sylvain Jose and Sylvia Josee Gautier, both born with the case of twin crests. Their elder brother wanted to bear that crest more than anything.

Claude’s monologue was interrupted by Dorte’s snort. Cautiously, Marianne peeked around the stables door and saw the most unusual scene. Claude was kneeling in front of Dorte, his arm extended toward the horse and a small green velvet box was in his hand. A jewelry box!
Everyone can agree that Marianne and Dimitri are made for each other, but it takes them quite some time to fully admit their feelings for each other. With support of their friends from Golden Deer and Blue Lions they come to terms with their emotions and allow themselves to be happy with each other.
