Chance tucked him under his arm while stirring the pot. Mafiso kicked and clawed, but it came out as harmless little bunny thumps.
Later, Chance dropped pellets in the bowl. Mafiso’s nose twitched involuntarily. He scowled.
No. I refuse to degrade myself like this.He hopped onto the table, dragged a piece of bread into his mouth, and sat triumphantly chewing.
Chance blinked. “Huh. Guess you’re a carb guy.”

Mafioso isn't one to "do feelings" but man is chance making it extremely hard to focus on his duties. It isn't because chance is always on his mind (it kinda is) but because of the coughing sprees and looming stress of if he will be able to breathe in the morning that make life a bit harder.

Gubby sneaks out of his cage and finds a potion. He decides to knock over on Two Time without knowing what it does. Two Time ends up as a bunny that looks eerily similar to Gubby, but Mafioso knows it's not his rabbit. Knowing his partner has a tendency to get themself turned into animals, Mafioso quickly figures out what's happened and takes care of them until they turn back.
