Growing up, Chance wondered if he can ever fulfill his dreams. Knowing they don't have any due to their difficult past. Living in the large city of Ros Verya, the city of rich and minorly the poor, Chance owns a large casino named "The Velour Palace," one made for the gambling addiction and satisfaction. Already drawn to the gamble such a young age-they knew that their fate will be sealed.Making a deal with one of the largest Syndicate's, the Sonnellino Syndicate-hidden with the deepest secrets and depths. Chance had his wishes come true, with the assistance of Mafioso and his Goons with work in the casino when they needed it the most. Crimes, punishment, everything that needed to be performed for the traitors and losers who lost on the Roulette Table.
Getting deep with connection with a friend, Chance couldn't help but feel something for them. A never-ending fleeting feeling that they'd want to stay with them forever. But that feeling...will not last long. That begun Chance's downfall, one that will never end until the maker is gone.

idk how about we just auction chance off like those old gacha videos where they auction off the hybrid prince that somehow ends up in the hands of the mob boss (why is it always like this??)
So, basically:
Years of debt and failed attempts to pay his debtors back have racked up, creating a sum nearly impossible to pay off. That's when Chance found himself cornered by people he didn't know, trying to take him somewhere.
Consequently, he gets sold to a mafia boss and has no choice in the matter.
