Professor Henry Higgins gives Eliza away, though whether or not he ever had her is a matter of great linguistical debate.

Summary
"...You see, she'll be a pupil, and teaching would be impossible unless pupils were sacred. I've taught scores of American millionairesses how to speak English: the best-looking women in the world. I'm seasoned. They might as well be blocks of wood…"
LIZA. That’s not what I want; and don’t you think it. I’ve always had chaps enough wanting me that way. Freddy Hill writes to me twice and three times a day, sheets and sheets.
HIGGINS [disagreeably surprised] Damn his impudence! [He recoils and finds himself sitting on his heels].
Based on the 1938 film. Freddy drunkenly sends an explicit letter to Eliza. Henry intercepts and subsequently short-circuits.

Summary
The Dracula/My Fair Lady crossover no one asked for, but I watched Nosferatu (2024) and decided to make it everyone's problem.
Henry Higgins is called to Transylvania to tutor a reclusive count who wishes to be introduced to modern society. Eliza and Pickering tag along because she senses something is not right with the situation. An ancient voice in the night calls to her in her dreams and waking hours.
Dracula characters pop up here and there, but for the most part our friends from My Fair Lady get counterparts from the Bram Stoker novel. Plot points borrowed from the 1992 film.
**03/01/25** Tweaking a research SNAFU re: who had rights to Transylvania in 1913. Bear with me, remembering history is not an American's forte, clearly. Ha. I joke because if I don't, I'll cry.

Summary
"... most children Lillian knew only had one father, or more often than not, none at all, because of the big war. Lillian, in fact, had two fathers; her daddy, who was properly married to her mama, and Papa Pick, who was married to no one but quite devoted to her daddy in the same romantic way her daddy loved her mama. Papa Pick was devoted to her mama as well, but it wasn’t quite the same (“but it is no less profound”, her mama had patiently explained), and he’d said many times that Lillian was the rose of his life. Papa Pick was the loveliest, sweetest man to ever draw breath, and, if Lillian had to pick one thing that was vexing to her, it was the fact that she was only allowed to call him Papa in the house, and never when visitors were about. When they were out and about, or when people were visiting, he was ‘Uncle Hugh’."

For your information, and since you had the audacity to imply otherwise, if not ask directly, Henry Higgins, esteemed professor of phonetics and author of the bestselling “Higgins’ Universal Alphabet”, was doing perfectly fine, thank you very much.

this starts right after the memorable last line. How I imagine things went on (hell i hope they bloody did) it's shameless romance xoxo
i am not trying to say i don't like the original but this is for everyone who would have hoped there would be more insight in the romantic ending.
I hope you like it :) feel free to leave comments -

Summary
Set several years after the events of With a Little Bit of Blood by D.E. Ireland. The Great War has ravaged everything Eliza knew. As she and Higgins navigate a world so vastly different from the one he introduced her to back in 1912, a baffling mystery lands on their doorstep, involving people they hold dear.
Plot is HEAVILY inspired by A Monstrous Regiment of Women a Mary Russell/Sherlock Holmes mystery by Laurie R. King.
Familiarity with the D.E. Ireland books is recommended but not entirely necessary. Spoilers galore.

Sequel to Pygmalion (1938) that disregards Shaw’s sequel.
Eliza is having a quarter-life crisis, and decides she needs to sample several life options before settling on one. She tables the flower shop idea to focus on studies, and returns to Wimpole street. Henry Higgins is thrilled to have her back in any capacity, and begins to work on becoming a better human being as he quietly pines.
Given this is a sequel to the 1938 film, WWII will be a part of the plot.
