I haven't spoken to him since before the wedding. I don't know why he picked up. It was the first ring. He asked me, "what's wrong?" and I asked him how he knew. He laughed, quiet and sad, and told me "You wouldn't have called me otherwise".

“Is this your plan for all of eternity?” the mystery boy asked, looking almost amused at Jason’s wandering. “Sneaking out of Elysium and haunting your loved ones?”
Jason turned, refusing to let himself get riled up. Instead, he glanced over at where Thalia began to make a paper airplane and then looked back at his apparent stalker.
“I didn’t sneak out,” he said. “I have permission from Pluto to leave as I wish. It is my right as a spirit of Elysium.”
The boy clicked his tongue. “I see,” he said, and looked at Thalia with a sad sort of smile. “And how is that going?” Jason didn’t answer. He didn’t have to. He didn’t know who this was - if it was a god, spirit, or something else entirely. “Do you know who I am?” the stranger asked as if reading his mind.
Jason ignored him. It was time to go. He wouldn’t enjoy his time with Thalia if he was being harassed for the entirety of it. Could he visit Piper again? Or would this guy follow him there too?
Just as he stepped away, the boy laughed. “Luke Castellan,” he called. “If you were wondering.”
Or
Jason is trying to have a productive death. Unfortunately, a certain son of Hermes is making his afterlife harder than it needs to be.

Summary
Percy Jackson, fourteen days into his second year at New Rome University, is corralled by his girlfriend into "being one with the culture." Her idea of socializing, obviously, is to sign them both up for a course that does not actually do anything for his major. It’s written like a joke: the son of Neptune walks into a lecture hall, takes a test, and promptly fails.
After going through the five stages of grief, Percy finds out that he's a little more known than he thought he could be. It takes an entire class, a crazy goddess, and a little coaxing from Annabeth to decide how he feels about that.
(Spoiler: Really happy. Really, really happy.)

When the child arrived his black hair was tousled he lay sleeping in the fallen needles of the pine tree that stood above him. The boy was lain on his side; he looked peaceful as if he had just plain fell asleep for a moment and lost track of time. His face was soft looking in sleep, a light brown, with his lips slightly parted. His hands were curled protectively around the empty space beside him. He wore a faded orange shirt and baggy jeans, with tattered old converse poking out from the hem of his jeans. The wind brushed lightly against his skin. His face was littered with little pale nicks on his nose and cheeks, showing an insight to the life the boy had led. As the moonlight shone on him every so often his skin would seem to ripple, scales seeming to creep up his scared arms, slits appearing in his neck. But it was surely a trick of the light as the boy who lay there his black hair filling over his eyes was surely completely normal.
