All cultures share stories of old, tales passed down from generation to generation, some veridic, others fictional. In between those, there are some happenings that are so outstanding many consider them legends—stories that may have been based on true words but have been so thoroughly exaggerated that they sound nothing like they once did. Legends, such as the Lycanwing.
Viggo considered himself a down-to-earth man. He had grown up in a tribe that shared horrifying stories about creatures that had once scared him, yet now, as the chief of the dragon hunters, he knew his place was above those beasts. He was a dragon slayer, a savior amongst his people, and he was no longer afraid of those bedtime stories of fictional dragons. After all, surely those tales were nothing but.
He would soon be proven wrong.

Hiccup is playing around with the Dragon eye to see if there is something new. He toys around with it for another 30 minutes before having to go do something else. The Dragon eye rolls and falls onto the floor and it then shows a mysterious island Hiccup hasn't seen he and decides to then make a trip to explore it
Basically the dragon riders go to an Island Hiccup accidentally found with the Dragon eye, they find a second night fury and a small light fury and then a person (The person is a LYCANWINGGG YAAAA) and hunters, shenanigans yada yada madness.
