But no, it's none of that. The world has simply gone mad. The old rules are gone, new ones have been slapped on instead, and no one has bothered to explain anything to him.
Before Astarion has time to process any of this, he's thrown into adventure with a bunch of strangers – emphasis on strange. But it's all right. He'll survive. He always does, whatever it takes.

Summary
It was foolish. Undignified. He was a wizard, a scholar, a survivor of cataclysmic fate. He had touched the Weave itself. And yet here he lay, reduced to this - undone by memory, by the ghost of a mouth brushing his skin in the dark, by words never spoken, by letters left unwritten, by the immense and echoing quiet that greeted him in every room he entered alone.

Summary
”Hello, my name is Gale Dekarios. Would you be so kind as to call me an ambulance? I appear to be having some kind of episode.”
”We do not have time to help this… ‘ambulance’. We must report directly to my Kith’rak.” asserted the green one.
“We are in need of aid ourselves, perhaps you can travel with us until we find a healer,” said the purple one.
Just his luck. He was stuck in some kind of nightmare trip with the most dedicated roleplayers in the world.
Gale’s life is quiet and predictable, spent working at the library and having quiet evenings with his cat- when he’s not dealing with his insufferable neighbor, Astarion.
That is until he wakes up in a world of magic and danger, where he knows nothing and no one, except for one constant: Astarion is still there, sharper, deadlier, and just as much of an asshole.
Now Gale has to survive a story he doesn’t belong in, with no plan, no knowledge of magic, and no idea how to get home.

"The drows furtive glances about had been met more often than not by none other than the githyanki warrior, currently sitting cross-legged by her sword. Minthara was aware that there was a lingering wariness of her amongst the party, although it seemed like no mere coincidence that they of all people kept locking eyes for split seconds at a time. As expected Lae’zel ultimately deflected."

Summary
My Unofficial Second Campaign Because I Don’t Want it to be Over When It’s Over.
Four years since the near fall of Baldur’s Gate. Its savior, Roslyn, is celebrating her engagement to Astarion (everyone would argue it’s about time). They are already greatly looking forward to the attention and gifts it will entail. It’s also a damn good reason to have (nearly) all her friends back in one spot, something that had become difficult in the past few years.
Yet, things go sideways. It’s quite unfortunate how that always seems to happen.
Baldur’s Gate is now a thousand miles away, and getting back seems less and less likely. Gale has only joined this little quest so Yenna could untangle her practice of magic. Now he has to deal with a great-nephew of Roslyn’s human brother whose struggle with understanding magic seemed to reach Yenna better than Gale’s gifted ease. Karlach has only joined to spend some time with Shadowheart, and everyone else of course. Now, she–actually, Karlach was still doing okay.
Roslyn… well, the former princess was the one who started it after hearing that the roaming empire that had burned down her kingdom was threatening another. And Astarion? He is always down for some revenge.

Summary
After a long year of rebuilding from rock bottom and crashing on Karlach’s couch, Astarion has finally saved enough from tattooing to afford a place of his own. It’s small, but all he really needs is a mirror, a locking door, and a housemate who won’t mind how he dresses—or that he sometimes screams in his sleep. When Shadowheart convinces Gale to rent out his spare room, he’s just hoping to ease the mortgage and maybe partake in some conversations more stimulating than what his aloof cat offers. But Astarion may turn out to be far more than Gale bargained for—and exactly what he needs.

“What did he ask of you, then?”
Gale shot ramrod straight at that. “How…. how did you know?”
Astarion’s smile widened.
“I didn’t, until just now.”
Gods damn this fucking vampire…
“Touche,” was all Gale could say in response.
---------------------------------------------------------Astarion wasn't the only one who got an offer from the devil.

Summary
He must truly be losing his mind.
Every time Gale looked at him with his big, stupid, lovely brown eyes and charismatic smile, asking if he’d like to come help, Astarion folded like a lawn chair. Gale still couldn’t get him to attend an actual service—he’d rather die, thank you—but when he saw Astarion walking in each Saturday, he’d grin and greet him with a hug, his touch lingering a tad longer every time. Oddly, something about seeing the reverend glow like that had Astarion’s heart hammering in his chest.
And then it hit him, one day, out of the blue.
He...
Oh god.
He fancied a priest.

Ten years have passed since defeating the Elder Brain and so very much has changed.

But how is she to cope when during one of her nightly prayers, she is confronted with the possibility that he has found her?
Frightened and angry, she has to figure out how to navigate his threatening to her peace, or rather, solitude. Will she be able to move on and let go? Or will she lose herself and her sanity in the process?

Rhune needed his help; it was clear that he’d been in significant distress, and the fact that he’d fallen over unconscious with no obvious outside influence was extremely troubling.
And if Gale acted quickly, there would be no danger of anyone being murdered tonight.
Mind made up, Gale stuck his head out of the flap of his tent while he pulled on his shoes, and called out, “Whoever’s awake and on watch right now, please, hurry, I need some help.”
