Summary
Everyone knew the legend of the Hero of Time who traversed time itself to prevent a dark future, but few knew there at least one instance where he did not succeed. Not because Ganondorf defeated him with his minions or magic. No, instead a certain creature found its way the land of Hyrule and took it upon himself to liven up the place.
This is story of not only Link's failure to overcome Kuromaru but how he was the first to succumb to pleasures the Kuromaru sought to bring to Hyrule.

Summary
With Hyrule in danger, it falls upon the chosen hero to save the world from the ruinous plans of the evil king, Ganondorf. The same story as always, of course.
Except this time, she's brought some serious backup on her journey. Nobody expected her to somehow befriend a small army of powerful monsters, especially not Ganon himself.
(Or, A long time ago, I read a parody fanfiction of Ocarina of Time where Link was joined by the various bosses that were defeated on the path to saving the world, and when going on a nostalgia trip, I decided to give it a try myself, nearly fifteen or so years later.)

Link choked, not on the water, not with the Zora Tunic on, but on the sensation of tension and heat exploding in his chest. The water was heavy. Thick, like he'd expected, almost gooey in his lungs. It was like trying to run through a hot spring: he could feel that he was getting oxygen, that he was neither drowning nor suffocating, but his throat stuttered and his head swam. It was a long moment before he realized he'd reached the bottom of the pool, tile cool under his knees, and looked up to try to find Navi.
Found himself staring directly into a single, huge, disembodied eye.
