And so, this is how they hear it fail. They hear voices turn from hope to terror as the first ship making the attempt is ground to pieces by the unforgiving Stormwall. They hear desperate retreats and then something strange.

“It’s expanding,” Sol says, in horror.
Indara lunges across the cockpit and activates their map, with the overlay that shows active beacons, the only way they’ve so far found to track the edge of the Stormwall. Aska has no idea who exactly she is, who her family is or what had happened to her. This is because she got hit on her head really hard when an accident occurred in her hometown ever since she was 4 years old, so she developed amnesia. Although luckily Aska knew her name since it said it in her necklace… at least she knew that’s what her name was. Because Aska has no memory of anything so therefore she was lost, she was found by the Jedi who were on a mission for investigation and sensed how strong she was with the Force. At first Aska wasn’t sure if she could trust them, but because she could sense their kindness thanks to her powers of the Force that she wasn’t aware that she had, she decided that she could trust them so she began to accept their offer to join them so she could train to become a Jedi. Now Aska on her journey to become a Jedi wonders if maybe she might get her memories back someday. But the biggest thing that Aska may face as she grows up once she’s a Jedi is fear and knowing what it feels like to be a burden just as she and her Jedi friends Sol, Indara, Kelnacca and Torbin are on a mission to the planet Brendok for investigation… as well as what it feels like to be in love.

I was inspired to tell this story from the perspective of Qimir based on the beginning narration of Tangled and it was so much fun to write from his perspective. I really hope you enjoy it. “I’m so afraid, Mae-Mae,” she whispers, trying to grasp her sister’s hand, feeling nothing but air. Mae doesn’t answer. “I don’t think Mr Sol likes me very much. He is very polite, but he treats me like I’m a doll he can arrange to sit prettily in the corner and then forget all about me. He doesn’t like it when I disagree with him on something, or ask too many questions. All this time in a carriage and he mostly read his papers, never even told me anything about this place or what our life would look like.”
A childhood tragedy leaves Osha Aniseya alone in the world, living under the roof of her guardian, Mr Sol. Growing up isolated and with a strict governess and the spectre of her dead sister as her only companions, she is desperate for human connection. Unwittingly, her desperation invites the attention of a mysterious being, tormenting Osha with nighttime visits.
As illusions of a polite society fall away Osha will have to make a decision on whether to cling to the shiny veneer of the light or follow a monster into darkness.

Just some things I thought would be cool to see in a S2. I FULLY BELIEVE LESLYE'S TEAM WOULD DO INFINITELY BETTER. Which is why I essentially wrote it as a very rough draft for an eventual screenplay that will never actually happen. (Renew The Acolyte for real though!) While it limited my narration, I ended up having fun with the style, and I hope you enjoy the presentation style.
Also with that mindset in mind, whether or not you enjoy my writing, the conceptual scenes and happenings are just as much if not more of what I wanted to present.
