Peter se esperaba muchas cosas al mudarse a Ciudad Gótica.
Esperaba que la escuela le costara un poco más porque Ned no estaba con él. Esperaba que la ciudad lo molestara. Esperaba que ese nuevo mundo lo engullera, e incluso así tenía un plan de contingencia para todas aquellas situaciones.
Se suponía que ese sería su nuevo inicio. Se suponía que al fin podría ser normal. Pero se equivocó. En Ciudad Gótica nada era normal. Ni él, que pretendía ser humano, ni los cuatro chicos que parecían haber estado años buscándolo.

He didn’t feel the cold anymore. The snow landed softly on his broken body, unnoticed. Somewhere in the distance, people screamed, their panic a faint murmur against the overwhelming silence inside him.
Spider-Man had always known he’d die someday.
But the truth was, he was afraid of death.
The next time when Peter woke up, he found himself drowning in some unknown substance, his eyes burning open and limbs secured by what felt like metal. The water filled his mouth, nose, ears, and lungs, causing a searing sensation within him. He could feel his body attempting to heal, stitching up wounds as he struggled to remember the exact reason why this was happening. His muscles burned with exertion. The boy choked on the liquid until he could do so no longer.
He was pulled upward, unable to hear anything but a ringing in his ears. Coughing up blood and the green liquid, he turned his head to avoid further choking. The chains grated painfully against his skin, causing irritation and overwhelming stimulation. His wet clothes aggravated his skin, provoking an urge to scratch despite knowing there would be no relief. The rough texture of the table scraped against his bare feet and arms.

After the world forgets who Peter Parker is, he decides to leave Queens, take a break from Spiderman and move to Gotham, hoping that the crime ridden city will let him get away with a few false online documents.
He ends up choosing a favourite café, joining a boxing club, moving into a college dorm and becomes a janitor for Wayne Enterprises.
All, of course, with his mix of real and fake documents.
But who is gonna look into that? It’s Gotham!
Unlucky for him, he caught the interest of some of the nosiest people in the city.
(This is a side project for when I wanna write something different compared to my main story so updates may be awhile in between.)

“A life for a life. I know.” Harry nods, chancing a glance at Lily Evan’s face, expression tranquil and calm, staring with unseeing eyes up at the ceiling. Death hums. Lestrange chokes.
“You’d give your life for hers? You don’t fear Death?” His voice is hushed.
Harry smiles mirthlessly. “I greeted Death like an old friend a long time ago. No, I don’t fear him.” Harry pauses, expression pulling in a fierce grin, showing his teeth in a snarling way. “And what makes you think that I’m the life being forcefully taken?” Harry only gives Lestrange a moment to allow his words to sink in before he’s speaking once more. “Say hello to your wife for me, Lestrange. Tell her Harry Potter, Master of Death, sends his regards.”
Lestrange screams as Death takes a step forward, swinging his scythe in a downward arc.
