How can a freak accident and OSHA violations change someone's life in so little, yet so much time? Serving a company for so many damn years only to turn into the lab rat you used to test on. And now, they have gained their most valuable asset to date: an expendable that never.. expires.
The only one of of dozens that didn't die a horrible death. Sent down to Hadal Blacksite, you were now going to attempt to extract what they want. Forever. It's not like you had anything else on your agenda: what could you do? You weren't going to get your hopes up, that somehow you'll be able to fix this, only to be wholly disappointed later on.
At least, you had the brief company of another victim. You'd seen him so much you'd lost count, and yet it was always a first meeting with him.
Only, maybe you had been tricked by another person.. because despite him being a stranger to you, you were not a stranger to him.. and he was pretty good at hiding it.
Not only that, he eventually started becoming suspicious, having Deja Vu when he saw you. Only particular bits, but he slowly started piecing things together. How exactly he was going to navigate investigating his suspicions..?

He had died yet again on one of his many run throughs of the mines, the Grumble nest was always a struggle to get past. The calming guitar of Guiding Light passed, as he began to prepare to wake up feeling himself fall down with the crashing elevator.
He didn’t expect to wake up back in the hotel elevator, which quickly sent him into a panic. Had he failed enough at the mines that he had to completely do the hotel over?

Summary
The Hadal Blacksite. A laboratory, containment facility, and Selene Meyers’s personal Hell for the last few years. After her insubordination to Urbanshade, they’d taken her humanity from her, and over time Selene grew accustomed to the tests and jobs they’d used her for. She had given up hope to see the sun again, until a breach flipped it all on its head.
Every guard, every scientist, all of them had abandoned the site and the experiments that still lived there. Selene had been handed a chance to escape, and working with fellow experiment Sebastian Solace, she planned to leave the site behind once and for all.
Whilst they worked together, she refused to let anyone close and that included him. But after an injury gets her to lower her defenses, they find out they have much more in common than either of them want to admit.
This is a very personal fic about my OC Selene and explores her dynamic with Sebastian, as well as a second minor OC because I am coping hard and writing fanfiction is a good outlet. This isn’t what I usually write and I’ve never written smut before, but I’ll try my best and hopefully it’s good.
If you recognise anything, no you don’t.
